I think that sounds like a great idea. We all know that denying you your holidays would be a Very Bad Thing!
Have you got recent photos of the house? Might be nice to actually show off what you've been spending money on!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I'll try to take some over the weekend. It's still not 'finished' but its a lot closer. There are no pictures or anything up yet so it looks quite bare.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

little Dinah-NIMs (DIMs sounds too mean but I keep thinking of them like that in my head) in the next few years and I won't be able to travel so much. So new tactic, if I want holidays I need to earn them!
DINIM? I would have suggested Ninah or Niah but those are a bit wierd.I'll try to take some over the weekend. It's still not 'finished' but its a lot closer. There are no pictures or anything up yet so it looks quite bare.
Still looks a LOT better though. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
ooh I want to be a director of fun too. what an ace job. I am slightly jealous of all the holiday talk though. last time we went away was april
we did have a lovley time though so I can't complain.
Dinah that's a good idea about setting a new challenge. i'll have a think then get back to you.
love the idea of numbers mating. maybe that's how we all got into debt in the first place????? one credit card mated with another one etc. that's it blame the numbers not ourselvesGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Starnac how old is DD? The noise, and all this talk of mating had me thinking the friend is male...:o:o
:rotfl:I can actually laugh at that without having to rush upstairs to see what is going on!! :rotfl:

AARRGGGHHHH Just got back from my job assessment. The actual assessment was fine (bog standard english and maths test), but..... there was this really creepy guy also there for the assessment. Now this was a job in a secure mental health unit, which I'm fine about, but this guy wouldn't get the hint that I wasn't interested in him. He kept asking me for my number, saying he could massage my leg when I had cramp in it etc. Got to the point where I had to ask if there was anywhere else to sit because I couldn't put up with him any longer. The people in the hospital were very accommodating when I told them what was going on. But it was just weird. I almost asked him if he was supposed to be there as a sexually deviant patient, but thought better against it.
Got home to find that I've been offered an interview for another job just down the road to OH! I'm getting excited about the prospect of possibly moving in with him, that it's almost taken the tarnish off of today! And it's for a job which I'm over qualified for, but pays a hell of a lot better than my current job. And I'd be happy there! Off to look at flats now and fantasise about moving!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
I am here, sorry ladies/men! I was hiding in the mancave. Speaking of, with the disco ball, fluffy pink sofas they were dancing on while wetting the baby Evies head (congrats and that's the sweetest name ever ever, hope you're all doing well!), those crate beers NIM was carting about actually being full of cheap Rose and terry's chocolate oranges, and them holding each other weeping at the end of Marley and Me, I'm starting to wonder if we've rubbed off on them more than expected. As you can imagine, I've been a little too shell shocked to post.
That and the fact we've been having internetical problems and everytime I freakin' post it cops out on me. I've kept up on my iPhone (hence being on myfitnesspal a lot!) with 3G but I don't like posting on it. I hope this posts!
And now I have too much to reply to that is already stored in my head as replied too, but obviously haven't been. Gah! Glad you're all okay though, even if there's been a string of Swipers swiping all the MSE girlies.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for the interview, Ruby. How strange about the guy today though  Oddness!
If anyone else joins MFP feel free to add me. I've gone full out muscle training with protein drinks now! OH was laughing at how much I've changed over the past 6 or 7 weeks. The whole lifestyle overhaul has really worked for me, mixed with a girlcrush on Jillian. I'm even thinking of starting running, but that's mainly because the most beautiful man I've ever seen (who looks like this ) runs in the village next to ours. And I'd very much like to have his children if OH wouldn't mind, which I don't think he would.
Hope you and NIM are feeling better soon too. What type of exercise do you think you'll be doing when you're feeling better? My Cousin wants me to join his bodybuilding gym, but I'm leaving that until I'm at my ideal size and as toned as at home can get me. I told OH I want to look like Alberto Del Rio so my Brother might start loving us again.0 -
Yey Cinny's alive! I had horrible image's of you off swimming in a bath of molten gold and turning yourself into a human statue
Things not going well with your brother?
Urgh who knows, I wish I had your motivation but I just can't get my head around it - we need money so much it feels like wasted time to exercise. I have the cross trainer but that doesn't really tire me. I'm open to suggestions.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
