PARKING CHARGE NOTICE - New Generation Parking

Are you a Police Officer or Council official then?
Did you mean PARKING CHARGE NOTICE...?
To the OP, just ignore the PARKING CHARGE NOTICE if that is what you have, you only need to dispute or pay a real ticket issued by the Police or the local council where you parked the vehicle/
Well we all know it's a penalty really - if they actually called it that it would be a bit more obvious it was illegal :beer:0 -
If they tried to do court, parking fee Zero, consequential loss to landowner zero, amount that can be claimed in court zero, Parking Charge £75, it's for not shopping in the complex M'lud backside of ppc kicked for illegal Civil Penalty. Do you see where this is going pjereed?0

Everybody say IGNORE, so anybody knows for how long??? When they give up? Is anybody there who ignored many months ago and they stoped sending letters??? Please???!0
-
We have seen some give up after the first letter we have seen them go on for months. There is no set pattern, even the same companies differ!0

Update: I have now received a debt collectors letter in relation to the initial PCN. Also today had a letter from a solicitor saying about sending bailiffs around?!

The letter was NOT from a solicitor, it was a FAKE just like the FAKE parking ticket they gave you.
IGNORE, we told you what to expect, read the threads.
It is a scam of impersonation and threats.

They are lying. They can't just "send bailiffs around". The law doesn't work that way. For that to happen it would have to go to court (very unlikely), you lose (very, very unlikely) and then you refuse to pay whatever the judge orders within 28 days. This is such a remote possibility that it's not worth worrying about. Just keep ignoring this bunch of con-artists
Could you please give us the names of the both the debt collector and "solicitor"?What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
I will do - my wife rang me in a panic as she doesn't like letters like this, so I will get teh detail off the letters when i get home.

I would love to see the letter from someone purporting to be a solicitor threatening to send bailiffs round. That is criminal misrepresentation. Take trisontana's advice but at the very least say who these scammers are.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

Hi
I am in the same boat with this company and bet the debt collector is Roxburghe and the solicitor Graham White (incidentally one of the same).
Wife is worried but i have persuaded her it is a scam and just ignore as per the other letters.0
