PARKING CHARGE NOTICE - New Generation Parking

Hi
I'm new to the forum, and have noted a few examples of being able to ignore such letters, but wanted advice on my own personal case.
I have received a 'Parking Charge Notice' - Notice to Owner from New Generation Parking (NGP).
I was parking in a complex in Cardiff Bay where I didn't note any signs, although I didn't look for any to be fair. The section on this notice says: "NOT USING FACILITIES AT THE TIME OF PARKING"
Admitedley, I didn't use the facilities noted in their list, I used the facilities in the adjacent complex (bowling).
My question is, do I need to pay the fee indicated: £75, or £50 if paid within 7 days - or should I just ignore it?
I appreciate there are lots of threads on this already, however I wanted to check against our 'reason' for the notice, and get some advice as to whether I should pay it or not, and what grounds I have on not having to pay it!!!
Thanks all in advance.

Ignore it and ignore all the "silly letters" they send as a result of ignoring it.
Your grounds for not paying at that they are a private company and they can not legally issue a penalty or fine.
Now the hard bit, learn what IGNORE means.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Thanks for the quick response - my wife has already said "Shall we just pay it and be done with it?", which I don't want to do, but somewhat anxious about the concequences of what could happen!
I guess everyone feels like this when they're IN the situation - are there any grounds on which they can pursue it any further?I am a Protection Adviser that specializes in Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover & Income Protection.

It's one of those situations where I DO just want to ignore it, but always weary of the 'what if...'

THE CONSEQUENCE'S OF PAYING IT
They will claim you paid late and ask for even more money. It is a scam and has little difference to begging letters you get in the post or E.mails from scamers asking for money, they have no legal right to ask you for money and you have none to pay them, but do so and they will want more.
What you do do is contact the business you were visiting and inform them that due to been harassed by a fake parking ticket you will not be using the business again and DONT !Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Ok, here's the "what if".
There will threaten court action, adverse credit ratings, bailiffs etc. You will also get letters from "debt collectors" threatening the same.
There is less than a 0.1% chance that they will take you to court. And even if they do, there is a less than 0.1% chance that they will win. And even if they do, you still have 28 days to pay before there's even a chance that your credit rating will be affected.
So simple answer. Ignore
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

Are you a Police Officer or Council official then?
Did you mean PARKING CHARGE NOTICE...?
To the OP, just ignore the PARKING CHARGE NOTICE if that is what you have, you only need to dispute or pay a real ticket issued by the Police or the local council where you parked the vehicle/ORIGINAL MORTGAGE AMOUNT £106,454.00 (Started Sept 2007)
NOV 2021 O/S AMOUNT £1,694.41 OUR DEBT REDUCED BY £104,759.59 by std regular, over-payments & off-setting.
BofE +0.19% Tracker Repayment Offset Mortgage Discounted Sept 07-10 then increased to BofE +0.62% until 20270 -
Unless the PPC can prove that by your vehicle parking in the parking lot of that retail complex and doing the sin of leaving the complex cost the landowner £75 in damages than you can just ignore it as the landowner's damages would be zero.
