So you can get music into Itunes. You don't have a problem importing them in.Lovingitifitsabargain wrote:Yes I can hear them on the nano ok - I just tested another one and it's gone across ok but as none of them have any names beside them I dont know which track is which I can send you a screen shot of what I see
Many CDs come with the songs incorrectly labeled (without the 'ID3' tags). You can try the following, but you may have to name them individually.
Highlight the tracks
Click Advanced
select Get CD track Names0 -
I have no energy left on this gadget - I tried the advanced button and got error CDDB Information not available on some of these items - and then zilch !! Can I just ask my main questions again - Why haven't I got the import button and why can't I see the playlists on the ipod ?sra wrote:So you can get music into Itunes. Hi
Ok - First the import button, then I'll walk you through the Ipod settings
Where is it you want to see an import button that you're not?
If you put in a CD, the CD should appear in the pane on the left. When you click on the CD, you should be shown the contents of that CD and have ain import button at the bottom-right of Itunes.
Do you not get this?0 -
No - I put a cd in and nothing happens at all - I have to start it by clicking file - import - in the web site it shows an import button at the bottom beside the eject cd button0

The CD(s) you are using isn't being recognised by iTunes. Is it a bought CD - not one that's been made with a set of MP3 files on it?
Have you tried shutting down iTunes, putting a CD in the drive and restarting iTunes?
The Import button is only shown when you highlight the CD's title which should bei listed under 'Devices' between Store and Playlists on the left column of iTunes.0 -
