Time to get rid of some debt! :)

Disasters are striking now near Xmas.
Obviously the tumble dryer going on the blink was a blow, now the bathroom has went berserk too.
The shower electrics are burnt out, so need someone in to look at it, and also the bath needs re-sealed and there is a leak I think at the u-tube so this is going to cost.
Ah well.

From bad to worse, really my fault, however our little girl was obviously in and around out bed room and I had left my laptop on the floor, she's stood on it and broke the screen.
Screen is knackered although not sure if I want to keep lugging a projector around everywhere, so might have to get it fixed.
And I did the bad thing and took out the loan.

New year, hopefully new hope.
Working away at whittling down the visa, good news is we got a bonus at work, so that'll give me another few hundred pounds, will use it for some upcoming stuff such as the holiday, daughters birthday and a few treats. Maybe put some towards the debt, but will see.
With our holiday set for Orlando next year, I think I'll continue to use the survey rewards towards the holiday.

Well working away on the debt still. Doing well with the credit cards, never use them (apart from my Reward Card and Top-Up Mobile Card which are paid full every time they are used).
And with putting money away for birthdays etc etc, we are managing quite well. Also with the bonus I got, have put money aside for our little girls' birthday next month as well as the next 2 months Council Tax savings we can put that towards her birthday and any other little stuff also, if there is any other money kicking about that is left may put it towards the visa.
Also got £90 from a PPI claim made, still waiting on other info coming back, so might use a bit towards topping up a credit card payment and also put money aside for maybe a little treat or something. Have another few claims still to hear back about, if successful will do the same again.

Northern Rock PPI claim has come back and I'll be a further £450+ up on that.
So going to use the money for various things i.e. little extra towards credit card, little girl's birthday, bit more towards holiday, possibly a few quid away for any small emergencies and a little treat or two.

Things going well still, although one little downside was that we noted that our Tax Credit (only £42 per 4 weeks) will be stopping in March, so we'll re-budget for that.
Still saving up for Florida next year, have money form our recent loan put aside and adding little by little to it, the credit card which is the main thing we won't to get ride of debt-wise should be clear I'd say for next April, that should release £200 per month for us.
Topcashback account should have around £60+ in it in the next month or so, so I'll claim that back and probably put towards holiday, and the surveys I'm doing I hope we could be coming in at a few hundred pounds over the course of the next year which is also going towards the holiday. Meaning no need to use Visa Card.

Just been invited onto the Pinecone Research panel team.
Hopefully add to my income now as well.

Quite a while since my last update.
Anyways, first up we've did a recent trip to Peppa Pig World and we have also booked Florida for next year for a family break - the money has mainly come from the money we had from the loan that was last taken and also the PPI claim we received too. Just a small bit to make up, but with our intended Credit Card cleared by around early 2013, that should do the business and pay for that meaning no visa use for our holiday and we'll then have a saving of £200 per month thereafter.
Surveys are still going great guns, these are helping with stuff and also towards the holiday too, certainly see a few hundred £'s coming from this over the course of the next year.
And my Top Cashback is sitting at £130 so far too which is good.

Little update, as it's been a while.
Visa bill falling well.
Surveys are going well brining in some extra dough, also reward card and sites such as Topcashback and Quidco have brought in money too, this'll be going towards the holiday.
I'd rather stay away from the visa, but not sure if we'll 100% manage, may have to touch it slightly for our holiday but you never know, might not. I'd be hoping it'd be minimal anyway and the £200 saving per month will knock that away soon as.

Update:-
Surveys still going well, also Top Cashback is nearly £200, and sitting at just over £50 with quidco.
Also we've took out a new loan. Although that might seem the wrong thing to do, in fact it benefits us, gives us a bit of extra money, but what I'm actually doing is gettinga better rate and also paying off the loan 2 months earlier than the previous Tesco loan. So even though it's only just under £11 per month saving, that amounts to nearly £800 in interest savings alone and also into the bargain having nearly £1300 in our pockets which will help with the holiday and xmas.
Going well at the moment.
