reduced christmas food/sweets/biscuits at supermarkets (merged)

Morning all.
I have done a search, but please move/merge if this is covered elsewhere.
I was just doing my early morning shop at Tescos, when member of staff came round with new price stickers for the Christmas Stock - most things are now 75% off. The new sels she was putting out were WHITE, and had DISCONTINUED written on them , rather than the yellow ones which were already out showing most things half price.

yesterday i picked up bread sauce mix, Mulled spice marmalade, frank cooper's cranberry sauce and mint sauce, and luxury rum mincemeat for about the 25-35p mark. Bargain

went in last night luxury puds reduced to 99p,bb date oct 08 so can buy now for next year!!!!!!!!

Bought some tins of goose fat (makes delicious roast potatoes) reduced down to 25p. They're dated until 2010. Also bought 2 woks and a Balti set all reduced to £1.99 - 75% off - and also the 3 for 2 worked so only paid £3.98 for the lot.

There are loads of half price offers in Sainsburys at the moment on all the promo ends. Nearly every end was full of half price stuff. Things I noticed were:

Pantene colour shampoos, conds, intensive conds
Rice Krispies
Oatibix
Batchelors tinned soups
Lots lots more that I can't remember!

I was going to stock up but didn't have a pound for a trolley so couldn't! I hate coin trollies!!!

I couldn't believe how much Christmas chocolate etc was reduced in Tesco Silverburn (Glasgow) last week.

If it hadn't been that I still have selection boxes and tins of chocloate I would have been tempted to buy some.

Went for some reduced Crimble decos and a couple of DVDs instead

asda have reduced their xmas stock slightly further today.
didnt look properly but did buy a big cadburys selection box for £1.04
they were £1.39 yesterday
mini cheddars and those cheesy ball things in a tub are now 49p

There are loads of reduced M&S chocolates reduced to only 10p don;t exp. until feb 2007 normally £2.99 each this was Lakeside Thurrock btw.
