Did a quick trawl of local Sainsburys and Tescos at lunchtime. Most of xmas stock is half price - biccies, chocs, drink, gifts, xmas puds, cakes, loads of meat and veg. Lots of good bargains for pressies during the year. Biscuits are use by June!

My local Tesco had loads of these - dated 12/07 if you can make them last that long.

I've just come back from Sainbury's in Wallisdown, Bournemouth, having restocked the freezer for just over £5!
My best bargains were;
Huge pork joint reduced from £5.41 to 99p.
Organic extra lean mince 40p a pound.
4 pork tenderloin steaks 40p.
Organic stewing beef reduced from £3.99 to 40p.

There were loads of reduced fruit and veg too. Also their Xmas hyacynth arrangements and crocus bowls were half price. Lots of bargains.

They had loads and the store was really quiet.

My local baker had all their Christmas cakes etc reduced to half price this afternoon. Got a huge cake to keep for my birthday at the end of next month.So worth looking in small local shops :T

Managed to get 4 packs of 6 mince pies for £1.02 at Sainsbury's. They were meant to be BOGOF at £0.99 but the discount took off £2.94.

When i was in Asda today, they were selling, luxury christmas puddings that were £6.99 now £1.49 the date was use by june 2008, so you could buy now and save till next christmas, also door wreaths reduced from £7.97 to just £2.50 ..........lots of other bargains too
