Newbie wanting to be debt free!!

Ive paid quite a bit of my wages on my bills this month and finally paid half of the o2 bill. Had an interview this week and am just waiting to see if i get it or not. Got my JSA interview monday so will have a small amount of money there to pay off credit cards.

Since I started this thread i owed £6890 now I owe £5464. So in the last 3 months I have paid £1426 off my bills. Am really pleased to be doing so well and hopefully can sort a job out soon and continue to pay more off my debts.

That's just over 20% you've paid off, well done!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the support!! Wont give up until they are gone and dont owe anything but to a mortage, when i can aford to get one!

Went Job Centre on Monday and done all that crap down there, now have to wait 10days for a decision. Was in there for almost 2 hours was doing my head in, i hope its not like like when i have to go back every 2 weeks otherwise they can poke the £45!!

Got a few interviews lined up so hopefully ill have some proper money coming in soon and can pay of those bloody bills!

Ive sent off for tax refund, bank charges refund from TSB for £500, so if both come about i could clear more money off my cards.

Ive been getting quite excitied recently about clearing cards that im starting to worry myself!! My debt free life will be here soon............ Then my debt life will return once i get a mortage!!

Still no word from tax office about refund or from Llloyds TSB and also no money from JSA as yet. So am hoping something picks up soon, got money to pay my bills this month but would like to have some more to pay extra off them.

Im going to pull my belt in really really tight over the next few months and aim to pay all my money off credit cards. That means no going out a spunking money on crap!!
