Sony MSX-M2GN 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo (PSP) for £16-80

Genuine Sony Memory sticks here for a bargin (£16.80). They are sold within the Amazon Market Place so goto ther link (below) and then click 'new and used'. Amazon are selling them for £34-90 so the 'Market Places' are slashing Amazon's already cheap price!

They would be breaching the 'trades description' if they were't genuine. They are sold under the 'umberella' of 'Sony MSX-M2GN 2GB' so one must assume they are as listed! Also Amazon are usually very hot with their 'market sellers'!

I'll let you know when I get mine tomorrow anyway!

  • I bought mine from digital-premier-uk. It is a fake, but works fine. I have bought loads of mem cards (prob about 5 or 6). Only ever had a problem with 2 that I bought off ebay (which did look cheap and nasty) both where replaced and now work fine.

They look the same as the originals - but thats obviouse, otherwise they wouldn't be fakes, they would be compatibles (Why they dont release them as compatibles rather than trying to rip off the Sony brand I have no idea).

The easiest way to spot the fakes is how the packaging is sealed - also on the fakes there is a spelling mistake somewhere on the packaging (cant remember what of where - just read it, it should be easy enough to spot).

I think the Fake wording is something like 'Faster Mowing of Pictures', should be Moving ??

Thats a bit naughty! The text for Digital-Premier-UK clearly states...
    ***BRAND NEW!***SONY 2GB MEMORY STICK PRO DUO*HIGH SPEED*80 mbps(RED VERSION)MSX-M2GN

If it was a third party card then fair enough, they should state that. As you say.
Oh well. As long as the thing works.
An email to Amazon would quash them!

This will be a fake. I bought a 2gb Sandisk from Amazon Marketplace and got a fake Sony 2gb with 1,949mb free.
EGG are a bunch of complete bankers!
  • I think you'll find this will be a fake, but fwiw, I've been using my fake 2gb pro duo for about a half year now without any probs.
