Well the fact you thanked post #20 shows you can't have much IT experience, so you don't understand where I'm coming from.0

The actual trerm is
Not even the most pedantic "tech head" would consider that "print out" reads "print" to PDF.
"I have read the Terms & Conditions
"
All other things on a sales website are irrelevant when you complete the booking/buying process you agree to the terms and condition/conditions of carriage and you have to declare that you have done so. You do not have to declare that you have read every bit of waffle on the website.0 -

Are you saying that you can tick the t and c to say that you have read them and then argue that "I didnt have to read them all" ?0 -

99.99% of people would take "print out your ticket" to mean "print it on paper". I can print to PDF so I understand the argument. You know what though? Lots of different companies ask you to print tickets/confirmations/receipts etc. Strangely enough I don't think we're going to see them all changing their T&Cs anytime soon to "print out on paper" because they get a high volume of complaints from people like the OP.0

For the umpteenth time, these terms and conditions do not say the ticket needs to be printed.0 -
Thats strange; because in the OP's opening post, they provides a link that says it does.....Signaller, author, father, carer.0

One of the lines in the t and c states
Passengers must be able to produce their ticket on demand by any Company employee (or other person so authorised for inspection). Any person who fails to produce a valid ticket for the journey may be asked to leave the vehicle or pay the maximum single fare on the route being travelled.
IMO that means yould have to print out your ticket as per instructions and physically have the ticket in your hand.
So instructions say print ticket, t and c say you have to have ticket pretty clear to me!0
