it has worked for me once as well, but i know two other people that littlewoods charged full price and they had to ring up and cancel.

Just a word of friendly advice!!

Absolutely, but if the screen price says £4.60 and this is this price you authorise your card to be debited, then that is all they can charge you regardless of their T&C.

I'd like to see what trading standards has to say if I show them my screen print confirmation of £4.60 and they charge me for £30+.

What they need to do to cover themselves, is to say that you will be charged the full amount and a credit will follow if you are eligible and to show the full price being charged at checkout. But this isn't what they do.

You can put an T&C in you like, it doesn't mean that they are legal.

Be careful with those codes. The £25 code is for people who have applied for LX's credit card. They may well check their records and charge full price. Littlewoods did this to me in May and because two months had passed after the order, the goods had been used and so they applied an arrears charge on my account, which I had to pay off.
  • Don't think I'll bother.
might be problems and all that.

They don't take solo cards!
  • I had the problem with the code when I brought an MP3 player rest assured after an email they gave me my money back!
  • This is what happens when you don't use the code for its intended purpose ! My sister in law works for them & of late thay have been scrutinising the codes , if you aren't entitled to it they charge you the proper price which is their entitlement to do so according to their T&C's .
  • oh no, totally confused now, I ordered one for me and one for my mum, under two different accounts, and now im worried that it was too good to be true.............help!!! I hope they will honour this. xx

I hope they will honour this.

it's not quite the same as a misprice where they may or may not honour the incorrectly advertised price (at their discretion)

Unfortunately this is a different thing where people are using codes incorrectly (i.e. not spending the required amount for the particular code to be valid) so it's not a question of them 'honouring' it, as the codes were not used in accordance with the terms of issue.
  • I have already ordered one.. Not received the order confirmation email though. Hoping to see the parcel :-)

Anyways.. I don't have LXdirect card ...will they refund on the mastercard that I have used while paying for this order?

Anybody there, who got this one (parcel delivered) at £4.60 ?
Did they charge the full price first and then refunded on the card??

    Please advise.

    Thanks a lot...
  • Hmmmmm, Ive not had a confirmation email either, think I'll cancel the orders, but with it being boxing day, maybe the email wont be sent til tomorrow. xx
