Goodness, it seems emergency funds are the way forwards, I found myself panicking about Christmas and then things going wrong so I have a christmas and an emergency fund.

My mum bought me a lovely printer its one of those wireless ones and its a hp b110 it was about 50quid and it has scanner etc but one of the best printers we have ever had. i took it to work it so good.
My dd daughters birthday in dec to 6 days before xmas!!! My baby will be 23 ouch!
I started to have a look around for xmas pressies but havent got a clue what to get anyone. Im a bit stumped tbh. Problem being they all got everything.
Think the greeks need more than an emergency fund, think they maxxed there credit card!!! Perhgaps martin should go and sort them out!!!

Its pretty bad isnt it. Im wondering how much more I can tighten my belt to be honest.
Thinking of giving up drinking. I have three bottles of wine a week.
I preach on about balance but there is a need for new furniture and shoes for the little one, and I cant magic the money from thin air, or use the money I need to do the other house up.

If it stays as crap as it does at work at the moment my emergency fund will be gone!!!!!!!
Wanted to go to sleep today as it was so boring. Duun why it so quiet, the town was dead strange!!! Just think no one has any spare cash at the moment. sighhhhhhhh.
Going on hols in 10 days cant wait 18 months and not even aweekend off! Sunshine and sea (well not the sea dont like it) going to be interesting as this is the first holiday on a budget normally just spend what we like and dont care, But this is different working out what we will have available a day to spend.

I'm the same. My budget is stretched to the limit already. I should hopefully get money soon from ex but DS told me he thinks he has a place on the school trip to France £700 only :eek: so that'll be that money gone for a wee while :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
If your self employed are you putting away the tax and NI payments. Can't see it on your SOA.0
