Most things really and I work my main meals around whats on offer. We buy our meat mainly from a butcher who specialises in bulk buys so that cuts allot of costs down for us. We live in a village so we have to do all of our shopping once a week!
Bread
Pop
Fruit & Veg - but get this now from the market so has cut it down a bit more.
Cheese - I never ever pay full price for that - BOGOF
Ice cream only what is on offer half price and BOGOF
Fahita wraps - freeze those
Naan Breads - freeze them
Oxo cubes they come up on offer every now and again and I buy about six boxes whihc last me around 12 months!
Fabric Conditioner either Comfort or Lenor and only when on offer with a nice slice off.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

I don't think I pay full price for anything! Maybe eggs, but I get those from the cash and carry or on roll back from asda anyhow (£2 for 15 as I only buy freerange). I stockpile offers and keep cleaning products in the shed, washing powder in the gargage and groceries in the garage cupboards. We always stock up when there are offers on and I hate not getting a bargain. I always shop around for the best prices I can get on everything. You SO need to know your prices these days as some "offers" are simply not so when you know your stuff!
I like branded stuff too sometimes (like the lenor ruby jasmine fab conidtioner) so just keep my eyes peeled and thank goodness I have a huge freezer and garage! Plus we grow our own in our allotment and greenhouse - you can't beat home grown produce.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I suppose the only thing we pay for are milk & flour, we get our eggs by the tray from our greengrocers - my husband is a reduced price/offer junkie - we have a garage full of non perishables he has bought on offerproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

It depends what you call full price. We have Lidl and Aldi nearby, when I go to Asda or Tesco and see some of the reductions on their fruit and veg, the price is often more than the normal price at one of the cheapies. I buy things at the cheapest price I can find at the time, whether that is reduced or on offer, or just from a cheap supermarket it just has to be cheap.
I really need another glitch on washing tablets and softener though, I've just run out of the 25p Tesco Washing Tabs and the 20p Tesco LenorWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I don't think that I either pay full price on anything.
We live 80% on whoopsies. We have got more selective on our whoopsies buying - just wish we could find more Quorn whoopsied. Our chest freezer has paid for itself a few times over on savings on foodstuffs. It was our best ever purchase - 2nd hand too
Milk - we use a lot but always buy on offer - £1 for 4 pints NEVER over this. Eggs we try to get offers on when we buy - we don't use too many.
Olive spread sometimes have to pay nearly full price as rarely on offer.
Toiletries, washing powder etc. we have enough to last about 2yrs from DTD, glitches etc.
I'm a fan of Approved food but haven't placed an order in ages -well before DTD - am still getting through the 3 orders placed before DTD. I've banned myself from there for the moment as we haven't got the room for more stuff yet!
Trying to get freezer down with little success as keep getting whoopsies. I won't leave them there if it's something we'd buy normally as can't afford to buy at 'normal' prices.0 -
Lamb chops have you seen the price ?
I look for them in Lidl at 30% whoopsie but recently found Aldi do 50% off
I just wonder if the sheep farmers have to hire security firms as shepherds as they must be worth their weight in gold :rotfl:0 -
what is whoopsie ?I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0
