I never buy bread for full price - with OH a loaf only lasts 2 or 3 days, so i always buy reduced ones from waitrose, If the reductions are really good i'll buy 2 or 3 loaves and freeze some (same with low calorie bread as a loaf of that lasts me about 2 months) if not i know that i can nip to waitrose on my way home and get a reduced loaf or rolls for lunches.
I never buy roasting joints (especially beef) unless it's on offer or reduced, or fresh berries for that matter.
So, what, if anything do you only buy at a reduced amount?

There is very little stuff I pay full price for now, Lidl's Olive spread and muffins are the main exceptions and Home Bargain stuff (though I class most of that to be reduced anyway).
I never ever pay full price on toletries, half price at best (which is full price in my eyes).
Sainsburys Pizza's (fresh), my max is 99p and often I get them for 69p and freeze - £3.60 per pizza is just a joke, in fact I rarely if ever now pay full price in Sainsburys, there is always reduced stuff.
Coffee is another, never pay more than half price if possible - I must have a stash to get me to next summer at least.

I won't pay full price for pop. Somewhere has always got an offer on so I just get it where ever is cheapest. (If pop is classed as food...not sure!)Saving as much as possible to replace all the things I've had years and are on their way to the knackers yard :eek:0

Coffee - either when Carte Noir or DE is on offer
Cans of Coke Zero/Pepsi Max
Special K - I'm sorry, £3 for a box of cereal is too much. Iceland were discontinuing the Honey Clusters for £1.50, I bought a couple of boxes
Booze - I wait til its half price, part of x for £y etc. If I run out of a spirit, I buy shop brand to tie me over
Toiletries - have to be on offer or in a cheap shop such as Wilkos, B&M etc
Laundry wash liquid
Washing up liquid0 -
Breakfast cereals - My DS (11) is a good eater and gets down a quantity every school morning, so I switch brands/types when offers are on. WEe like chocolate weetabix (either the mini's or the new proper size ones), but I think full price is horrendous. Bought up stock last time they were on offer.
Same with the rice krispies multigrain version that I like, DH popped into Tesco near his work and got me 3 for 2 last week. Then when I went for the weekly shopping, Sainsbugs had crunchy nut cornflakes 2 big packs for £4, so I bought those.
I think we have nearly as much cereal in stock as sainsburys at the moment !!I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -

Pringles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Massively over-priced at £2+ per tub when other stores like B&M etc. can sell them for 79p'ish.
Only ever pay £2+ when they are on a buy 1 get 2 free offer, which brings them back down to "normal" price.
