seafarer's are you sure you have a metal saw blade?
do you know anyone with a dremel? or similar?
they have little rotary blades and would easily cut through this...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Had a good day, but it has chucked it down here.
Luckily, I got Mr LW to put on his dressing gown and put the bedlinen washed overnight out at about 06:30 this morning, so it was nearly dry when he had to zip out and fetch it in because it started raining again.;)
He's doing this week's ironing pile now:D (it's so good to have a hubby who knows how to do domestic chores);) and then I want him to scan the pictures he got developed so that I can put them on the USB flash drive that is my photo album! He still uses an "old-fashioned" film camera; I have a digital one.;)
I may bribe him with a bottle of Pilsner Urquell, which they had 3 for £5 in Waitrose yesterday.:DJojo_the_Tightfisted wrote: »Decluttered tons of blood and pus from an abscess on stoopid splat's head.
Seafarers put the hammer down, and go and build the bedside cabinet!;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Seafarer's wife - have you checked whether the bolts are metal or plastic? And do you really need a new seat or could rubber gloves, a mask and some bleach and a toothbrush do the job? If you have more than one loo, could you ignore this until a friend is around to help or OH comes home?
AF has arrived and is not being nice. I have things that need doing so am unimpressed.0 -
oops, I promised DH a bacon sandwich as he had to take the dogs out and it is tipping down. Started reading on here and burnt the bacon. I like it crispy but DH likes his barely cooked.
After our late booking yesterday this place was abandoned. Saturday is usually the day the men help with the heavy cleaning. Sunday is a day of rest unless the weather is good then we dop as much as we can outside.
So while the GP is on Ihave a plan to catch up.

I am now the proud owner of a dremel and a 100 piece dremel accessory kit
unfortunatly it cant wait any longer to be changed, as ive got it in my head now that it needs changing just cause ive seen the muck and state of the bolts and right under the loo seat that its disgusting and germ ridden and needs to go. dammed steam cleaner doing its job to well at gettign right under the loo seat :rotfl:0 -

I am a tad jealous. I have always wanted a dremel
One of the jobs to do here when DS3 finishes college for the Summer is to change the loo seats here. They are not old but a toothbrush is not really working now. And my steam cleaner does the same. yuk isn't it?business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Two loads of washing done, level 1 dining room done, hall and kitchen vacuumed.
Hugs, sticks and spoons. xPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
that was a bloomin waste of money if ever there was one! a dremel will not let me in at the angle i need to get to the bloomin bolt! ive got one off
but the other i cant get in to as there is hardly any gap between the wall and the loo. handyman on speed dial for tomorrow and a very wobbly loo seat in the mean time.
