had a couple of friends round for tea last night and was fun, had a mini chinese banquet and was stuffed could barely move to tidy up so i left it and did it this morning. now got a nice clean kitchen again :)

right vote for 1 or 2 as i dont know what to do.

do i 1, hacksaw the old loo seat off and replace it with the nice clean new one or do i 2. build the new bedside table?

    Morning lovelies!

piggers I'd seriously be considering not going next time, he either includes you or you don't go, why should you be wasting time sitting by yourself when you've got other things you want to do at home. If he wants to see his family fair enough could he not go by himself and then take you and squeak up now and again?

Done my online food order, it was more plain sailing this week, not doing that Jamie recipe again, it was lovely but the rogan josh paste burnt me gob off and OH grumbled cos there was no meat in it, and the kids just wouldn't entertain it lol waste of time and effort. Back to normal stuff this week.

It's raining, not sure what's happening today, was going to go to the metro centre but DD1 not sure now, originally we were going to take a picnic and go see Sophie Ellis Bextor for free at the park but weather put paid to that, so whinging it today me thinks.

No planned list today, just doing a potter.

    laters x

ETA: Seafarers bedside table if you need the storage to make it tidy, loo seat if you don't

What pee'd me off was I was supposed to be putting Squeak to bed then going back and it was made quite clear I wasn't allowed or wanted.. that was the real issue... I was told I was tired and would go to bed.. ggrrrrr... I don't think so.........

This is SERIOUSLY out of order! And if I was at my mums I would be heading out to give him a piece of my mind!

Sadly I'm not - so I will just have to content myself with sending him evils!

I know how you feel around adults/relations who want to help but aren't capable. After we lost m-i-l in 1992 I didn't have anyone I could trust with the kids! My sister had 'em for one night for our 10th anniversary - that was 14 years ago..... F-i-law wanted to do stuff but wasn't capable - and my mum has never been the slightest bit interested........

hope you have a good journey back!

I've half-heartedly done the big kitchen cupboard, wish I hadn't started half way through but forced myself to finish it, so, it's done now, got a pile of junk to bin, FLING! :j and all my SC, food processor, toastie maker etc etc is on the top shelf all tidy instead of in various places. Also will make it easier for when I start packing.

Tidied the LR and just about the empty the DW now and peel the spuds for tea.

Wendy hope things have sorted themselves out with your OH.. x

I have suggested to him a few times that he comes the weekends I do have the children at home.. I can deal with them on my own.. i am just not good when I am literally on my own.

Next time we come up is in 2 weeks for Squeaks birthday.. I won't be coming after that until after the baby is born.. :D I shall insist I am not up to 2 hour drives

Haven't done the DW nor the veg yet, the cat was playing silly !!!!!!s on the stairs and knocked over the bath panel that was leaning up against the rails which then knocked over umpteen half full glasses from littleys room which she hadn't brought down yet, cue hoovering, soaking up and tidying the landing grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Took up the bags from DD1's swag from NEXT yesterday (housey stuff) keeping everything here till she moves so that's cleared the hall/stairs and landing at least. Cat has gone out, in the rain. She's nuts!

Might leave the DW for teenie to do...I'm fed up with housey stuff this week and want to have a proper day off, whatever that is lol....I'm back to scrubbing again tomorrow. Doesn't Monday come round quick grrrrrr
