    Good evening :D

    I haven't done much flying today :o

I went to art this morning, and did some painting :) I then had to go into town to sort out adding signatories to the club account at the bank, with 2 other committee members and pay in some cash. We then had a bit of lunch and a gossip :p

When I got home DH had been sorting out the CDs and cleared out his bedside cupboard. He had also been swimming. He received his stuff for the London Triathlon in 2 weeks time, and is panicking a bit now!!

We then went to Ikea (2nd time this week!) and bought hotdogs (rude not to at 50p!!) oh, and some units for toy storage (the ones I couldn't lift Monday :o), some new tea/coffe cannisters, a tin opener, new bins for the kids rooms & a lamp. I am now £200 poorer :( DH & DS have been building stuff tonight :j

My mum has brought me the sewing machine down from hers, along with a lavender plant and candelabra primula for the garden :T I will be able to crack on with my sewing project now (no excuses!) and get organised next week.

I don't think I am going to get anything else done tonight, so I will say goodnight :)
Hugs, sticks and spoons to those that need them, esp Toots, LW, Pigpen & RachelS
  • Decluttered tons of blood and pus from an abscess on stoopid splat's head.

Soppy thing is so gentle that as soon as I stroked him and realised that it was an abscess, got the warm salt water/kitchen roll and started easing copious quantities of the vile stuff out, all he did was miaow loudly that it was hurting, no growling, no trying to escape or clawing, just yelling the cat equivalent of 'OWW!'.

Poor boy. He is now recovering on my clean bed - amazing how he didn't have the thing start to leak until I had finished changing the bed.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Could have done with your help the other week! I declutter £130 to the vet to have our cat's abscess sorted

I have been asking KH when he wanted the children over summer hols for weeks.. Tuesday he said he didn't want to change any of his weekends.. I said good because I have made plans for most of them.. then today I get a text wanting to change the weekend I have booked Squeaks birthday party...

    I am so angry...

Made worse by the fact OH left me by myself at his mothers last night and has done the same again tonight.. I am furious and REALLY upset..i feel like he is just using any excuse to avoid me.. then his mother tried it on asking if she could put Squeak to bed then started getting shirty when I said no.. it is a strange house, she is over tired and grumpy and she was in fact asleep in seconds when I put her to bed but it could so easily have gone the other way and her screamed for hours. I did say to her.. Please, just don't wind me up. I am putting her to bed, end of.

I am sure it isn't just that I am being over sensitive I do think everyone is deliberately winding me up by being and difficult and annoying and neglectful as they can be..

I want to go home.. I could have got half that bedroom decorated this weekend without children in the way... such a waste of time coming here..

Jojo.. i've done several on my mogs too... Crackpot had a huge one on his back ast year which grew to egg size.. he never batted an eye when it was slit open with a scapel (by the vet not me!) My old angel mog had a huge one onher head once which had to tooth from another cat in it! I think a lot of it comes down to how much they trust you not to hurt them

    Morning All

I've got some soup on the go and that's about it. Hopefully the weather will be drier today and we'll be able to go to Tunstall carnival later so that will be a nice afternoon. I need to do some more washing but if the weather doesn't pick up I shall have to use the TD.

Piggers - I would be having serious words with your OH - it's not on.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning

About to turn up some trouses that I pulled the hem down on during the week

Pigpen~ I think you need to talk to OH and find out why he has been going out with out and and to where. Maybe his mother just wanted to put the baby to bed to give you a break and to spend time with her grand child.

Off to do the daily type stuff have a good day x

  • Morning. :D

I appear to have made it to the 48hr stage (well, 64 now) without being in agony so I don't think I have dry socket :j so its all up from here!
I'm still not, er, straining myself though :p (translation: I've done sweet FA :D)

My swisher still hadn't arrived before I left my flat yesterday, so much for '2-3 days' so now I'll have to get it from the sorting office when I get back. Grrr. The floors desperately need doing. Lots of food to declutter when I get back too.

He has only been to his sisters which I don't mind but I do mind when it means he is gone for hours and I am left by myself. If we were at home it wouldn't be an issue..

I had already told his mother i was coming to put her to bed.. she can barely lift Squeak let aone get a sleeping baby out of the car and carry her up the stairs. I did say I understand she wants to do this stuff but it isn't really practical when Squeak barely knows her.. She is going to assist OH in bathing her this morning though, I don't want to push her out, I just feel tired grumpy sleepy babies need someone they know well. She just wouldn't take no for an answer.. far too used to getting her own way..

What pee'd me off was I was supposed to be putting Squeak to bed then going back and it was made quite clear I wasn't allowed or wanted.. that was the real issue... I was told I was tired and would go to bed.. ggrrrrr... I don't think so.........

    Good morning!

I thought I'd pop in after missing most of the week. :o
DS2 and I had a great day on the club trip yesterday. We were soaked within half an hour of arriving in Skegvegas (it did eventually stop raining solid and we had showers from 2pm), but spent most of the time in the seal sanctuary, which was lovely. :j

Busy day today with laundry, shopping, work and organising for the Germany trip on Wednesday. DS1 is at a music festival (camping ) and will be back with more laundry later. He'll want feeding, too.

DS1 got me up just after 7am, so the first WM is done and the DW sorted. I've written a packing list and plans for who is looking after DS2 at various times while I'm away. Best get DH out of bed and choose the next job. We've had a dry start to the day and the forecast shows another dry window this afternoon, so I may get some washing out. If I don't make it back on, I'll be around 'properly' from next Sunday. :D

Have a great Sunday, everyone. x
