I've finished today's list in between collapsing in a state of semi-consciousness; think I must still be in Belgium in spirit. Or maybe it's withdrawal symptoms as I can't get any more Hoegaarden Rose.:D

Mr LW's wfh tomorrow, so I shall probably be on tea-making duties; also he'll want his main meal at midday (not sure what to do for tomorrow's dins, either) so Flying will be gentle fluttering, if that!;)

  • Oh piggers, I've felt your pain. It was about the time that I saw him again that I went to see a counsellor about what had happened. I was offered it at the time (well - 'at the time' in police terms meaning '9 months later') and didn't take it but then eventually I went for it. I have my wonderful, wonderful counsellor at the time to thank for a LOT of things - he taught me some techniques that have stood me in very good stead to deal with most traumatic events since then. I walked past the same guy a few months ago and I just got a jolt, a sick feeling for a little while and then I was OK. I don't have flashbacks any more either. Of course it never truly goes away but you can be better than hiding for days. :o PM if you want to talk, or want to know what I found helpful, or anything. Thinking of you. x

Uropa - another reason I want to switch to making noodles with a stock cube (apart from them being cheap :p) is because you know what's gone in to them! Oooh have you ever had chicken ones with a bit of cheese mixed into them? Absolutely delicious. :D

Just decluttered some crumpets which are, er, 2 weeks past their best before. :p they smelt, looked, and tasted OK, but I now have slight stomach ache. Hoping it's just psychological - I swear my brain does this to me when it sees a tiny bit of pink in chicken, or eats something past it's BB, or whatever. Grrr @ my brain.

Broadband still isn't activated. I think I'm going to go crazy if it doesn't start soon. Still using my phone

All the crap has now been depositted at the tip.. 1 dead wardrobe, 6 dead matresses and 1000 bags of 130 year old plaster.. :)

Nothing else has been done because I can't face it now.. I have so much needs doing and just cannot summon to motivation... just stopping myself crying is hard enough. I did ask OH if he wanted to go out for tea as we just have Squeak but I will just buy him a takeaway instead I think.. He loves his new toy anyway so I can at least choose decent presents!.. :D

    Hello!

No flying to report today...yet! I've had a stinking migraine so after I finished work I took some more tablets and went too bed in an attempt to sleep it off. Which thankfully worked ish. It's still there in the background but not as bad as earlier.

But, highlight of the day has to be....... waking up about 3.00pm, coming downstairs and seeing a fireman climbing over my back fence!! I thought all my Christmas' had come at once:D:D:D:D:D:j:j:j:j:j

However, he did disappear rather quickly in the vast plumes of smoke coming from my very well alight garden fence.:eek::eek::eek:

Next door apparantley burnt a mattress last night! The word 'idiots' springs too mind!*rolls eyes* Which carried on smouldering through last night and today. Eventually, it set their shed on fire, which then set my fence on fire. Which was a feather edged one not the normal panel type. Plus I've lost half the grass and a fur tree and I've got all their burnt debris in my garden as well:mad::mad: Not a happy bunny.

I have too say though that it was very pleasurable [STRIKE]oogling[/STRIKE] observing all the fireman carrying out a stirling job and saving the rest of my fence from the same fate.;)

Shame I didn't have my flylady hat on really. Perfect opportunity to get rid of the old branches that were chopped off our tree!!

Right I think I might do a bit of ironing in a bit!

    Not good then TAG!!!

DD has watered the plants and I have done the mushrooms and onions ready for OH's steak with pepper sauce.
I have decluttered 3lb's at weight watchers:)

2 loads of washing done today.
I had a spare wicker basket from where I sorted the attic and DD's room....put all the shoes that were laying about in there...
The basket that had some shoes on had a lid on and shoes got forgotton about....that basket now holds daily hand bags.
DD and I put away all the clothes that have been ironed in the last two days and I sorted some of the carp off the spare bed.

I haven't put the hoover round here today but TBH it isn't looking too bad.
