Unorganized

Had a bad night with DD so haven't been up long-sssh! Here's me for the day:

Monday-Living Room, Dining Room and Stairs DONE


Tuesday ~ Bathroom and Utility Room
Level One
Declutter and mop floors
[STRIKE]Remove mildewy mouldy bits[/STRIKE]
Level Two
Clean bath/shower/loo/bidet/basins etc..
[STRIKE]Empty out the bathroom cabinets, give them a good scrub and put back only the stuff you will use.. get rid of the rest!!!

Clean the radiators.
Wipe down the WM
Level Three
[STRIKE]Declutter 100 useless emails and run defrag.. race the defrag..[/STRIKE] clean those tiles!
Wash any grotty marks off walls and doors.. and the underside of the sink..
[STRIKE]Declutter the desk and make it all shiny.[/STRIKE]
Extras

1. Wash shower curtains, bath mats, sticky sofas and fluffy blinds!
2. HHI
3. Descale the shower head
   
4. [STRIKE] Tell someone you love that you love them.. someone you haven't told for a while.. so not the cat!.. even if you email or phone to tell them.. [/STRIKE]

My List:

1. Tidy the living room
2. Straighten the throws
3. Wipe TV stand
4. Tidy the kitchen
5. Wash up-wipe down tops and sink
6. Hoover kitchen through dining room and living room
7. De-fluff rug (my rug doesn't hoover, I have to don marigolds daily and 'groom' it lol)
8. Scoop the litter tray

Have done LOADS since I got back form hairdressers.... just not much that was actually on the list Let's just say I hope it's the kitchen tomorrow coz then I'm ahead :j
Just had a whole group of friends over for coffee with about an hour's notice. If that had happened a month ago it would have been disasterous for me but thanks to this thread my house was pretty much presentable and I just had to quickly run the hoover round and empty the dish-drainer :j

mw from long ago turns up on my doorstep and has set off my PTSD from almost 7 years ago.. I won't be doing very much bar hiding and crying the next few days .. definitely nothing today.

I just want to be sick.

Well I'm back from my interview, I've walked the dog and I'm going to pick the kids up and go to SW shortly. Thanks for all the good wishes - I answered all the questions so we'll see. I should know later tonight.

So far I've only cleaned the sink and thrown out some rubbish from my room...Gonna go put some washing on though. I'm debating whether I should put the line up as it keeps going cloudy threatening to rain then sunny for a little bit.

The Blockheads concert was brilliant! Was right at the front, got given the set list at the end as they finished their encore, and bumbled my way quite happily from lamppost to lamppost to get to the tube to get home. [:beer: related situation]

However, as I seem to be nursing a very painfully bruised palm/hand - dancing with a walking stick? - I'm going to be on light duties for a bit, as I can only move my first two fingers and my thumb (so can still play bass) until the swelling subsides.


Oh, and I do rather ache in other places too.

Plus, the exMIL phoned at 5.45am in tears to say that her painkillers weren't working on her bad back and what should she do? What? Well, phoning the out of hours doctors or a flaming ambulance rather than me would be a start when I only got to bed at 3am, the beer's just worn off, the hangover is just beginning to kick in and I've spent the last 45 minutes clutching an ice pack wearing one winter glove. And I'm not a doctor anyway. Or your DIL. :mad:

Lots of gently supportive and understanding words later, she's off to hospital where they have given her more painkillers and sent her home.

Anyway, there is a load of washing outside. If it rains, it can stay out there because a) it's Minion's stuff and b) have you ever tried operating pegs with half a functional hand?

I have also decluttered the evidence of the midnight large shish kebab and chips that seemed such a good idea at the time.

The bathrooms are fine already.

Must remember to double bag the ice in a cold compress next time, as I now have a little puddle on the bedroom floor where my 5am first aid attempt has leaked.

I still have to:

1. Go and buy the splats their dinner.
2. Get Minion something for dinner.
3. Dunno - I've forgotten it already. :cool:
