Not caught up with the thread, so hugs and spoons to those that need them.

We had my uncle's funeral today, so no flying done. We gave the dog a good walk this morning, then had a quick look in B&Q for the bits we need (still window shopping). We need to at least speak to an electrician to find out about getting electric supply in the summerhouse.

The funeral went well (as well as these things go). It was very sad, and I watched my little cousin (7 years old) and he looked bewildered :( His mum was very upset. After the wake, we went back to theirs and my kids played on the wii with them, and their mum was laughing. It was good to catch up with my family - some of which i haven't seen for years! My sister made it aswell, & I haven't seen her since she was diagnosed with breast cancer (travelled from Bradford to Essex).

Yesterday, I went to Ikea! i am not taking my DDs there again, they are useless! They can't lift anything!! :p Saved me a fortune though :D I bought some boxes & a laundry basket for their room (no excuses!).
I then came home & started sorting & rearranging the dining room! Still work in progress, so I may continue with that tomorrow.
I will also try & catch up with the lists.
But for now, I am knackered (emotional day!) Night night x

Pigpen, if she makes you that stressed and upset then she can take a hike. Its not like this is your first :p you know what to expect and you know when to call the doc and go to hospital etc, you dont need someone telling you what and when to do things especially when she is making you that stressed as its not good for you or Dot.

  • I just realised what MW stands for. I agree with s_w, you don't *need* a midwife (and probably haven't for the last few :p) and if she stresses you out then tbh you need her to NOT be around for your health and Dot's. :)

She knows that and I know it.. after today I think my mental health is at risk if I have any contact with them at the moment.. I know where they are if there is an issue.. getting them to listen is another battle entirely but at the moment.. I need to bring in the self preservation.. as much as it distresses OH.. If I fall to pieces there is nothing holding the house together, it is too big a risk to take right now.

She did say she would get the physio to fit me in ASAP which might be next week... though I did say I can't see the point to that either now.. 3rd referral in this pregnancy.. it is a bit of a farce!

anyway... enough of such matters, I don't need to think about any of it because it isn't happening :D I made my decision.

Wednesdays list is up.. special for someone :p..

At risk of poking my nose in where it's not wanted.... I totally agree with you Piggers. It's YOUR house, you get to say who comes through the door. It's YOUR body, you get to say who prods and pokes at it.
*Getting off soapbox now and pushing off to bed before anyone realises I'm still up at stupid o'clock*;)

Hope you are enjoying being a governor more than I am, greenbee?

    dw unloaded and wm.
Not much. I really don't have enough time to spend on it this year, and as most of the other governors are either teachers or don't work, they don't seem to be very understanding about me needing to have meetings when I'm not working...

Good news is I've lost 4.5lbs at SW this week

Bad news is I've been made redundant
sorry about the redundancy Jue, but try to treat it as an opportunity. I know you've heard me say more than once that both times I've been made redundant I've gone on to something better.

Presentation 3 of 5 drafted. Still lots to do but I think I know where I'm going with it. Insomnia is clearly kicking in, so I could have stayed up and worked all night but the electrician will be back tomorrow so I need to try to sleep. Or at least rest. I'll have to be up at the crack of dawn.

    Morning All

I've had 4 hours sleep and now I'm awake - that's not good - and I've got a banging headache from lack of sleep and crying.

Need to try and get back to sleep or I'll be fit for nothing.

    GI - hugs

    Have a good day all
