machine needle found in Primark shorts

Bought my daughter a pair of shorts in Primark - she got on her bike and discovered (after being pierced in the buttock!) a large machine needle in the back pocket. Have written to Primark head office and sent pics of needle and shorts - no reply so far. What do I do next?
(Also - does anyone know if this is a health risk in any way?)

When did you post the letter?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

has she had any health affects? If not , no.
I would give them another couple of weeks, then chase their reply.0 -
Personally I would be very tempted to contact the local trading standards of their head office in the UK if I was close, or my local trading standards.
Depending on the person you talked to they could be very helpful.......http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/advice/index.cfmI'm not cynical I'm realistic

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the potential health risks as others have although two weeks on is leaving it a little late in my opinion. If the skin was pierced or blood was drawn then there are naturally risks, albeit very low ones. It is very unlikely but tetanus could be a risk, the incubation period is anywhere from 2 days up to three weeks, even more unlikely (and I don't want to scare you, it really is unlikely) is the risk of HIV/Hepatitus.
I'm highly doubtful of any risk apart from an uncomfortable jab in the backside that has already been experienced but it is certainly worth getting the all clear from your Doctor who can carry out a broad spectrum analysis of a blood sample.0 -
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
