My hubby agrees with you (especially as we have to go through it all again today with his other 3 children and Nanna ! )

Hubby thinks Christmas should only be held once every 4 years!

    Merry Christmas,

No, I am just going to enjoy the next week off work with nothing much to do just chill out and watch the tv or eat unsuitable food LOL. This is the best bit to me once all the entertaining has been done on Christmas Day.

I love the build up, and Christmas day, but now its over, i cant wait until i can take the decs down and get back to normal.
Mind you, will be planning next Christmas from tomorrow when we start our sale shopping!!!!!
  • I agree with you Catowen, I love the build up and all the preparations but now faced with huge of sacks of paper, plastic boxes and cardboard I just want my house back to normal. I'm off to recycling shortly to take some of the recycling clutter away.

I love Christmas Eve but as with this year, due to grumpy parents over a family Christmas Day lunch it was a huge disappointment and instead of smiles and laughter it was a huge chore to sit there so was glad to leave.

Next year we will have our own Christmas Day lunch at home and just visit relatives in the afternoon.

I have already started planning Christmas 2007 too

  • The only part I enjoy is us & the kids eating a meal together. That is something that does not happen very often as we all work different shifts etc.

The rest is just too false for me. Everybody pretending to be happy & jolly.

If you dare to suggest this then you are accused of being Bah Humbug !!

It is great to have a few days off work too :D

Glad its all over for another year :j

Glad that the worry of finding the money to pay for it all is over! Just want to get back to normal now tho' and concentrate on staying out of debt in 2007!

A happy and optimistic New Year to you all.

That is what I would say, the worry, stress and concentration for one day is all time consuming, I am really pleased it went off again with no major probs and a huge sigh is let out!! xxx
