Happy Christmas Everyone and of course have a great 2007!
Anyway, I had a very funny thing happen to me this Christmas.
GOOD NEWS - My sister in law (bless her) gave me a present this Christmas
BAD NEWS - I gave her that very same present (which I got in the sales last Jan) for her birthday in April!
Thankfully I was able to keep a straight face and could see the very funny side of it. She hasn't a clue. The minx in me wants to give it to her for her Birthday in April. I'll have to see how naughty I feel at the time.
Do you have any funny stories like this?

Hubby once bought me a paper shredder as a present,
another Christmas it was a packet of disposable razors !
My work mates found it highly amusing,
This Christmas I had from my Nan
A knitted black/white huge cowl necked jumper which is 2 sizes too big and is see thru !
and a knitted swedish style bag for knitting when I cannot knit !!
Both have been carefully placed in the charity box

I had some fingerless gloves that plug into your usb ports. They have electric warming plates in them. I suppose some people may think this is a funny gift, but I think they are excellent. Apparantly you can get foot warmers too but I havent got enough usb's. Thanks broAnyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Funniest gift was a Royal Jelly pamper set from Gran-in-law. The minute I opened it and said it was lovely, she piped up with "I picked that especially for you as Royal Jelly is fantastic for stretchmarks". Everyone looked at each other with an "I can't believe she just said that!" type look, but I just cracked up laughing :rotfl:
Strangest gift was from MIL. It's a long sold stick of shower gel fastened in a bulldog clip with sucker on. You hang it up in the shower, then just rub your wet hands or sponge over it to use it. Quite bizarre but I'm looking forward to trying it
I didn't get any unwanted gifts this year and everything will come in useful. Most people bought us either garden centre vouchers, as we had the front garden landscaped in Oct/Nov but are waiting till spring to put shrubs in, or DIY vouchers as they know we've got a nursary to decorate after the holidays. Here I go again on my own....0 -
My bf outdone himself this year for the worst gifts for me. Its my fault for asking for a full stocking, except that was all I got. It was filled with: 2 bottles of shampoo(BOGOF), 2 bottles of coke(BOGOF) 4 spark plugs, car air freshener, box of hair dye, bar of choc, rabbit/cat/dog treats (we don't have a dog!).0

Snap - I got a shredder this year to replace the one he got me last year and broke the first time he used it! At least it is a gift I will use.0 -
My MIL gave me a vile green polyester Tshirt, embroidered with sequins, in a size 22. (I'm a size 16,- and have exquisite taste if I say so myself.). Lovely  .Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

Two 'watch freeview on your computer' sets after mentioning to both people concerned that I'd bought myself one that summer and that it hadn't picked a thing up, and had barely improved after sticking a larger/better ariel on.
Nice to know you're listened to, isn't it0
