I bought Asda smart price apple and blackcurrent squash and it was absolutely fine. I think if Morrisons are selling Robinsons for 50p I'll stock up on that but as an alternative at 28p (I think) I will choose s/p over a £1.30 bottle of robinsons any day.0

That reminds me - Asda Smartprice lemon squash is also absolutely fine - it's double concentrate but you do need to use a little bit more than the more expensive double concentrate stuff, however, it's only about a quarter of the price. There is nothing better in life than writing on the sole of your slipper with a biro.....0 -

Weirdly, the Value strawberries actually taste better than the full-price ones. They are only cheap because they are not uniformly sized...
thankyou ProdigalScouser, I have added your recommendations to the first list, thankyouTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

Hi folks,
I'm not a fan of Morrisons. I find the staff rude and unhelpful (even during a mystery shop I carried out there...) anyway, I would like to say their value potato salad is really delicious. Big chunks of potato and fresh herbs in a smooth mayonnaise. I decnat it into a nice bowl and no one knows its cheapo! Not sure on price though.
Also, I must say I disagree with the person who claimed the value mayo was whack. My DH bought a jar, and I opened it in an emergency. I noticed that the calories were the same as Sainsbury's low fat mayo (47 per 15ml) and I found the taste to be rally nice. It is a little yellow in colour though!
