I love the Smartprice chocolate mousses but they may be a little bitter for people who like really sweet chocolate.Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0

Hey,
Maybe others have already said although I didn't see these suggestions on the first post ...
Good: Asda Smart Price White Rice
Bad: Asda Smart Price Bolognaise Sauce

This probably comes under sweets at asda smartprice but for anyone who's not tried them put a bag of wine gums in your shopping they're equal to maynards very good.0

Isn't it all subjective though? People have different tastes and different levels of what they think is good results for things like bleach, loo rolls etc.
Some of the things on the recommended list I have tried and not liked and some on the not recommended list I love!
My take on it is - buy it, try it for yourself, if you liked it, fab! if you didn't like it then you've only spent a small price on it and not wasted a lot. it's worth the risk.Trying very hard to be frugal and OS - just plodding on and doing my best!

Big fan of Sainsbury's Basic Batter Mix, a bargain at 7p. Always makes good pancakes and yorkshire puddings!0

There is so many things I like too many to mention and all are probably on here but only a couple I dont.
Asda - smartprice chicken soup, so so watery that it wouldnt stay on the spoon. got fed up of trying and it went down the sink! Maybe would be better in a large cup.
smartprice chocolate borbon biscuits, not keen on their taste, sainsburys ones are far nicer IMO.Happy days

Can recommend tesco value fresh mackerel in packets in the fridges, have it for my dinner nearly every week day. (Cut a couple of fillets up small and have them with Aldi iceberg lettuce, Aldi spring Onions, v small amount of Aldi Evoo EV Olive oil and a pinch of rock salt.)

I bought some yesterday and we're hoping to use it next weekend. Is it really nice then?
Yes, we really like it, so do the kids :T but last week i noticed it now shows as 19p reduced from 29p...... why do they do that, make out like your getting it cheaper, i have been buying this sauce for over a year and it was always marked up 9p
dont get me wrong 19p is still really good, its the false advertising i dont like !!:(0 -
Good: Sainsburys Basics part-baked baguettes, olives, tuna (indistinguishable from brand names), supernoodle knock-offs (exactly like similar products), Blue British cheese (softer than Stilton, harder than things like Saint Agur, not bad at all).
OK: Sainsburys Basics houmous. Nice enough, but costs as much as other non-economy store brands.
Bad: Sainsburys Basics Salsa dip. Has the consistency of mucus, and tastes a little bland. Too much tomato, too little else. I threw it straight in the bin."Einstein never said most of the things attributed to him" - Mark Twain0 -
Don't know if its any good but assume it does the Job - T value conditioner 500ml 3 for 48p!
I don't use it but for those who maybe do T value hair gel 300ml 3 for 30p!!
( both till 25/10 )0
