I usually buy Cadbury's instant hot chocolate from Poundland, 400g jar for £1.00 compared with the same in Tesco for £2.57.
Nearly out of Cadbury's and wasn't prepared to pay £2.57 at Tesco for it so I tried...
Tesco Value Instant Hot Chocolate Drink for 400g at 48p
I made it up using 3 heaped teaspoons, instead of 5 as thought it may be a bit strong, put a splash of milk in the cup too, stirred it up as I hate getting air bubbles of dry powder, poured in the hot water, and another splash of milk. Was reasonably ok for price paid.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0 -
I wont buy asda sp mince as its terrible.. but love lemon curd! sorry if these are repeats xxWife to a hardworking husband and mum to a adorable son and grumpy cat0

Asda Smartprice Apple Pies are really good, 50p for 6. Put them in the kids lunchboxes when I'm feeling lazy and can't be bothered to bake anything!
Asda Smartprice Golden Syrup is great for baking, 77p for 680g.
Asda Smartprice Red Pesto is really lovely, 60p for 190g
Asda Smartprice Ravioli - the kids like this - 35p for 400g
Asda Smartprice Raisins - So much cheaper that those little boxes and taste identical! - 99p for 500g
EDIT: A quick note about the bags of Smartprice fruit and veg - many of the products are actually cheaper to buy loose per kilo so have a look before adding to your trolley!
2nd Asda smart price Red Pesto.:money:
Cheaper than ANYWHERE on the planet and tastes great.I get a good 4 meals out of 1 x 60p jar and it keeps for 2 weeks once opened.
Lidl Free Range Eggs still 85p for 6.
Battery eggs still 85p for 10 but the quicker we phase out battery farming the better. Them chickens just don't look healthy.0 -

SP Crispy Rice Cereal: Disgusting - Hard and chemical/cardboard tasting
SP Cornflakes: Ok, nothing special but definitely edible

SP Extra Mature White Cheddar: Lovely
SP UHT Skimmed Milk: Great
SP Salted Butter: Really yummy
SP Chicken Flavour Instant Noodles: Also really quite nice!
SP Medium Brown Bread Sliced: Ok, could have more grains as it tastes quite like white bread
SP Cheese and Tomato Pizza x2 pk: Nice, not much cheese or sauce but very big for the price
SP Smoked Salmon Trimmings: Wouldn't eat on their own but cooked in scrambled egg or pasta they are fine!
SP Toilet Roll 4pk: A little thin but does the job!
SP Tinned Vegetable Soup: Yummy
SP Tinned Cream of Chicken Soup: Nice, very flavoursome
SP Baked Beans: Can't tell the difference from branded!
SP Whole Chicken: Delish and would last for many dishes
SP Orange Juice: Lovely, not too acidic/sour tasting like most cheap OJs - Nice and sweet
SP Mozzarella: Creamy and good texture but has a little twang when eaten uncooked
SP Kitchen Roll: As good as branded
Basics Jaffa Cakes: Can't tell the difference from branded!
Basics Cookies: Tasty but small and not much chocolate chips
