I can't see if it's been mentioned but we buy Smart price passata and cat litter. Although we found mixing the litter with a better quality one works best. The Bob Martin cat litter is good value too.

Has anyone tried the Smart Price multi-purpose cleaner?

thanks Redleela, I have added your your recommendations to the front page. I use to buy the litter alot, until my moggie is now using the out doors. No more expense regarding cat litter for me :)

I have not had a recommendation for the multi purpose cleaner, but I checked with "mysupermarket" and I see it is only listed as 25p, so small price to lose if it is not up to scratch, if you do buy it, let me know how you get on :)
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

Loving reading your thread, there's only two of us to feed but we are on a low income but both work in a supermarket so we spend a lot of time following price control around so we can get whoopsies lol.

My freezer is crammed at the minute (we only have 2 shelves in the freezer) tonight i got onion rings - 90p, bbq spare ribs - 90p, 24 mini sausages -57p (i'm gonna make pigs in blankets with these), chicken goujons - 60p, 2 packs of 12 sausages - 55p each, a cheesey baguette - 29p.

We get staff discount and buy basics range too and I use all the coupons for extra nectar points/money off I can get. I've managed £7.50 worth of points in 3 weeks.

Do you have a sainsbury's near you? As the Sainsburys basics chicken portions from the freezer section is excellent. You get 2.5kg of chicken thighs, drumsticks for £3.79. Really good value :)
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

The Basics pack of chicken portions that I mentioned is fab. Really good value and decent pieces too. Oh and the Salami. I like the basics teacakes but they have a really short shelf life :(

Treated myself to a bottle of Ballycastle from Aldi today, only £4.99 and apart from being a little lighter in colour, just like Baileys! Bargain, I'll be stocking up at Xmas!
