Thank you for this. I had no idea this policy existed. I have had £14.02 refunded in the space of one hour since e-mailing them. Several other items have massively increased in price including a Barbie plush cat toy that I bought in their sale for £3.XX and is now on sale for £16.XX.

I've asked for a refund for Martin's book "Thrifty Ways For Modern Days". I paid £6.39 for it and they've now got it for sale for £3.99 so I've asked for the £2.40 difference.

Amazon have refunded me £24 !! Only took an hour for their email to reach me to say the credit is on the way!

So we all just have to remember to check items bought from Amazon before the 30 day rule runs out - I'll try to keep checking and will add that to my list of New Year's resolutions!

  • Thank you so much OP :j

I have just received an email and they are refunding £20.02 :):) If it hadnt been for this post I would never have known about the policy :)

    Thanks
  • Marvellous £33 will hopefully be refunded. I know Evans (big girls blouses) do refunds if you buy with their card but I have never caught them out.

A most welcome belated crimbo pressy.
  • Just got an email saying that I am entitled to a £1.02 refund and it will be paid directly into my bank account!

Just saw this on Hotukdeals - thanks to ndurve. Not sure if it has appeared on here yet.

Not many people know this, but Amazon has a price drop policy. If they lower the price on something that youve purchased within the past 30 days, theyll issue a credit (although you have to ask for it).

If you want to check if any of your purchases are eligible for a refund, just follow these simple steps:

    1. Visit Your Account and look at all invoices from the past thirty days.

    2. Click on the item names to pull up the current item description/price and compare to the price that you paid.

    3. If you paid more than the current price, copy down the order number and go to the Return and Refunds Contact Form page.

    4. Select Refund Inquiry as your subject, and check off the order(s) of interest. If you dont see the order in question listed, enter the order number in the Other field.

    5. State in the comments that the price dropped, and that you want to be credited for the difference. It might help to mention the item name as well as old and new price, but Im not sure that this is necessary.

You can ring their freephone number on 0800 2796620 or use the link

I've just applied for a £2.50 refund - i'll let you know how this goes and hope it helps some of you!

Do they do pricematch as well?

If the placed order which is cheaper at other site, do they refund?

    Anyone had experience?
