Not sure where it's from - was a freebee :D and yup, boots changing bag, another freebee :D anything free is fiiiiine with me!

Two PPI reclaim letters sent recorded delivery and two old mobiles sent, one special delivery (iphone, worth a few quid) and one freepost (old carp thing worth about 50p) so fingers crossed for lots of money back and quickly :D

LMH - I haven't told DH about the reclaims for exactly that reason. Fortunately they're both in my name so he doesn't need to know either! He is getting better though but I have to explain things slowly :p he just forgets sometimes and gets swept up in what "other people" have. I just remind him that most "other people" will have a huge credit card bill waiting for them when they come back from their holiday/turn off their 3D telly/whatever! Just got to train him to always check Quidco before buying something....he's a nightmare for that!
  • Freebie's are faaaantastic!

Have you joined tesco parentling club too etc?

Well done on sending the PPI's - I'm excited for you!!

  • Yup, joined every club going I think! Espeically like the Tesco one though - for the parking permit :rotfl:

I'm really excited too! If they both repay the whole amount of PPI then I'm looking at close to £2k! I would literally laugh my way to the bank with that cheque!
  • Do you know roughly how much of your monthly payment is ppi, i requested and paid for the paperwork but never recieved it.

On my Capital One card it was something like 2% of the balance each month but on the Black Horse loan it was a fixed amount that was added to the amount I borrowed. I'm not sure how much it added to the monthly payment but the whole amount is shown in a seperate section of the credit agreement which is what I've used for the reclaim.

Definitely chase it up though, especially seeing as you've paid for it!
  • How exciting if you get that!
