Read over your diary over the last few days. Ouch to the pain in pregnancy. I thought I was hard done by having heart burn for the last 16 weeks, but not nearly as bad as you. Poor you.
That being the case well done for getting a hold of your finances in spite of it all.
I was thinking that by the time I got to the end of your diary, that you would have bubba but I guess he/she is still hanging in there.
Ref baby things. Don't forget about freecycle and freegle for baby things. No point in paying for things when you can get them for free. Same with the free ads on Gumtree.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Thanks for the advice on the maternity benefits - I spent all day yesterday trying to decipher the info on DirectGov. I wish you could just ring someone and get a straight answer rather than having to battle the informaiton on your own! I've asked DH to print the form off that boss needs to complete and I'll drop it in on Friday when I know he's there and have a gentle nag, at least then I know he's got it!
Hi Chev :hello: thanks for popping in! I can unfortunately relate to the heartburn too - I'm living on gaviscon and milk atm! You know its bad when even plain water causes it! All be worth it in the end
when are you due? Bob's still there, hopefully not much longer though because I really am struggling! Thanks for the Freecycle tip - I've tried dozens of times to register with my local group but they never authorise my account for some reason. Will try again though because I've got loads of stuff that I could give away too!
I did manage a hobble around Asda last night, felt very proud of myself for it too
! Couldn't get the bouncy chair thing because they only had it in pink and while that doesn't really bother me, DH gave me the eyebrow look...lol got a few weeks worth of nappies though for £14 which I'm pretty chuffed with.
Also got DH to pay for swimming lessons, first one is this evening so off to dig out the swimming kit out in a min. And I found a carpet for the living room on ebay for £100 brand new which strikes me as completely bargainous because it's a 5m x 5m big room, so I sent off for a sample, which will hopefully be here today then I can order it and maybe get the carpet here for the weekend
Laser tag for Saturday is all booked and party bags purchased in Asda yesterday, just need stuff putting in them (bubbles, sweets, balloons etc). Decided to have 3 friends for 3 games from 6pm so we don't have to feed them! I will make sure to put some food in the party bags though. So thats 4 kids @ £12 each = £48. Budget was £50
:j
Feeling very productive considering I do most of this without getting out of bed :rotfl:0 -

Hiya guys!
Sorry I've not been around very much recently - I've been seriously miserable from pain and lack of sleep and haven't got much to say!
Just wanted to pop in and let you know that I haven't had the baby yet
I will be back, just need some sleep so I can concentrate and get my house back in order!
Living room carpet has just been delivered, plumber coming to disconnect the fire tomorrow so I'm hoping to have a sitting room back by next weekend which will help everything feel better I'm certain!0 -
baby will come when cooked, thinking of you, stay comfy and relax while you can xxTrying to shift that debt!0

Heyyllooo!!
I'm baaaack and considerably less miserable for a couple of nights sleep
:D:D
The living room is....erm....a work in progress? The fireplace has been removed, just waiting on the plasterer to turn up and fix the enormous hole in the wall, paint and carpet are ready and waiting and the curtains have been washed!
Its payday today :j:j:j! Mortgage and council tax have been paid and I've bought the last few bits I needed for baby. Just need a couple of bits for my hospital bag and then I'm all done!
I saw the consultant yesterday and they're going to give me another 3 weeks to go into labour naturally and then induce me if I can't take anymore. That takes me to 39 weeks. Have got my fingers very tightly crossed he makes an appearance on his own and REALLY soon because I'm stuck in bed until he does!
I took the plunge and emailed my boss on FB. He didn't seem to mind, seemed quite grateful for all the information I sent him actually! It's SSP payday on Monday so only another couple of days and I'll find out if he's actually paid any attention to what I sent him! My Dad is his accountant so if he doesn't pull his finger out then I'll get Daddy Dearest to kick his butt
Must go and catch up with everyones diaries! I've been so lax with reading them, I've probably missed loads! I've been spending most of my time on the pregnancy thread - we've had 6 ladies go into labour today already! Could I be number 7???0 -
How lovely to see you back. I know about being pregnant and stuck in bed, with ds I had some issue with my hips, and it was rank.
You seem chipper though and organised. Its all coming together xTrying to shift that debt!0
