you are so right on all counts elantan.
Well I have been pulling my hair out over this wireless router but things seem to be improving slowly!
Been a beautiful day here, we went to see Ian and to quote Alice 'he is the best dressed one there'his daffs are still looking great. Mum has been teak oiling the bench I got to put next to him, just need to get a plaque engraved to go on it. That is a job for next week and then we can take it to him, I can't wait.
Twink, you are so right about boys being boys and William is no exception! He has the same cheeky look his dad had. Apparently when Ian was little he rubbed a pound of lard into his mum's TV screen  I reckon William's ink episode could be on a par with this.
Anyway I hope the easter bunny brings you all an Easter Egg. Hugs from us all.

Hello one and all.
Lovely to catch up on all the posts, and apologies for my tardy replies, but, and you wont believe this, I have finaly bought a new laptop....tadahhhh! It has only taken me 2 days to sort out all the wireless palava, could I find the key anywhere for the wireless connection? Could I heck, John had safely stored it on the PC that has gone up in smoke......brilliant. Anyhow, to cut a long story short, I searched and searched, and found a scrappy piece of paper all scrunched up at the back of a box of old stamps, and there it was, and so, here I am, up and running once again.
Phew, I'm so pleased that I bought me an Easter Egg and a pair of summery jeans to celebrate.
I'm glad to see that everyone is either ok, or coping really well, I'm sort of dreading next week as I'm off, and I don't want 'things' to catch up with me, so I have a very busy week planned. I went to put my house on the market with another estate agent today, to see if I can get things moving, so I'll keep you all informed.
It's going to be a lovely day here again tomorrow, so we are going up to see John and tidy up a bit, I have some daffodils to take, so that should cheer up the plot. (I can't have a headstone as yet).
I've been out for a meal tonight with 2 of my favourite friends and we have discussed my visit to the consulatant at length, it's so good to talk sometimes isn't it? We had such a lovely evening and I'm so pleased with the new PC, so am feeling a little brighter.
On top of that, Rosie won tickets to go to see an Abba tribute band tonight in a local theatre, I dropped her and her friend off there, and they've had a great time. Rosie and Ben have also joined Winstons Wish, Ben had rather a bad episode last week and put his fist through one of my doors (well, a door that John had custom made!!!!), so at least he feels he now has somewhere to vent with people that understand. Rosie is having little chats too, bless her.
Have a lovely Easter Sunday everyone,
Stormy

Love Always to You All0 -
hello to all, its a bit windy here but great weather to get the washing dry, i have planted some potatoes and have some seeds on the go so the garden is looking tidy, i have two weeks off just now
AnWsmum, a whole pound of lardIans mum must have had some trouble getting that off the telly and stormy, winstons wish sounds good, is that where younger people can talk to one another, anyway hope your holiday turns out ok
big hugs to everyone xx0 -
Hi there Twink and all, windy here too and I've done loads of washing, I love to see it all on the line, it reminds me that spring is here.
I went to the cemetery today and bought some 'interesting ornaments to go onto John's plot. I cant have a headstone as yet, and there is still a 'mound', so Rosie and I settled on a mushroom, with a baby mushroom, a lovely gold planter for flowers, an orbital planter and those ornaments that you put into patio pots with butterflies and angels on them, with some little fun ones from Rosie. I thought it all looks really nice.
I have a week off now too, I'm going to tidy up the house and see if I can sort out some of John's things. I don't know yet if I'll be able to, but my good friend is coming around to help me, so we'll see how I get on. I'm not looking forward to it, but if I don't do something, I'll just sit here and cry.
I watched Brokeback Mountain last night and cried all the way through.
Anyhow, off to watch the end of Corrie, put the washing away and then in the bath. I've washed all my bedding and I love getting into nice clean sheets, John used to love it too, so it will give me sweet dreams tonight.
Hugs to all of you and I hope your Easter was as peaceful and happy as possible. Another 2 firsts survived for me, Easter without John and my lovely Dad's birthday yesterday, so the cemetery is full of lovely daffodils and tulips
Lots of love,
Stormy:j Stormybay0 -
Oh, I forgot to add, I also bought one of those solar lights too, so we can go up to the grave in the twilight hours if we want to.

I wish you well, it's not an easy task but it needs to be done so you can move on in your life. Do what you can without upsetting yourself too much and remember they are just things, keep the seriously sentimental but don't feel guilty for getting rid of clothes etc, John lives on in your heart and in your lovely children. xx0
