Hi Everyone
Stormy it sounds like John has joined the 'best dressed' club with IanWe still haven't got a headstone either and I think I will wait until the summer before I think about it as the ground still seems to be settling.
Well done on the firsts, it is almost 44 weeks since Ian died but still seems like yesterday
This last few days have flown by, hardly seem to have had time to do anything but we have booked our hols with mum and dad again this year. We are going to Florida to see Mickey Mouse and coDad and I sat and booked flights, car, hotel etc tonight.
Well I had better get off here, wrap ebay sales up ready for posting and get some moresorting done tomorrow. Still to decorate Alice's room and thinking of a trip to Ikea for bedding/new bookcase for her either tomorrow or Weds.
Big chocolately hugs to you all.

Thank you NearlyRich, Hi AnW's Mum and everyone. Just a quick update really, I've been off today and cleaned the whole house to a shiny new pin, but have not once gone anywhere near John's stuff. I havn't deliberatly not gone near it, I just haven't, yet this was my plan for this week. I feel very strange, strangely normal in fact, it wasn't until I sat down here at the PC that I realised that the very thing I intended to do, I haven't done.
Oh well, there's always tomorrow, no rush.
Rosie is out playing with a friend and I'm alone in the house, which, believe me, doesn't happen very often, but I can't sit still, I'm up and down like a yo yo. I've cleaned, washed, read a book (well part of it), watched Jeremy Kyle (lol), made the beds, vacuumed, polished and made the tea. I just haven't done any 'John Stuff'.
I think I'll treat myself to a long soak in the bath and order my shopping on line and get up bright and early tomorrow to sort out John's clothes. Yes that sounds like a good idea.
I feel like going up to the cemetery again today, as it looked so lovely at the graveside yesterday with all the new paraphinalia, like Ian, AnW'sMum. But it was raining yesterday, so should look even nicer today.
God, I'm rambling, ok Tesco on-line, here I come.

Ooops, by the way, I forgot to say, I have bought this brand new lap top and I have no Word, Excel or Powerpoint
Any ideas on what to buy cheaply?

You can go here and download a wordprocessor/spreadsheet/etc for free. It does depend on what you are looking for though - old versions of MS Office often appear in places selling obsolete software, but that depends on whether you need the latest versions."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

If you already own a copy of Microsoft office you can transfer it to your new laptop. There are several versions of Office available I think with a schoolchild in the family you are entitled to buy the Student version which doesn't have every bit of the package but has Word Excel and Powerpoint.0

Thanks ZTD and nearlyrich, funnily enough I'[ve been on the techie board tonight looking at the OO one amoungst other stuff, it seems great for free. I think I may have a 2003 Office suite somewhere from an old Dell PC I had. Would it be ok to install those on my new laptop with Vista?
Hi AnW's Mum, how are you today, it's true, I did sit in the sun for an hour or two. I've also had another estate agents round today to try to sell the house as I've had no interest so far, so i've dropped the price (just a little), so I can at least get people through the door.
Well, better get off to bed, Rosie and I have the dentist first thing in the morning.....ugghh.
Sleep tight
