Sending you the HUGEST HUGS for today, you have done the toughest year of your life and survived. You are a credit to John and all of your children. He will be sat up there watching you all. xxxxxOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
The same from me Stormybay, you are an inspiration to us all.
I look at this thread and think, ok, if Stormybay did it, maybe I can too.

Thinking of you too Stormy,
I've not posted on this thread before, but often read it. I visited my dad's plot at the crematorium today with a poinsettia basket (he died 20 yrs ago) and I still get upset. My thoughts have been with you all day today. Hope you manage to have a good Christmas xxDMP starts June 2012, £38,180.

Thank you for these CG...............unfortunately I may need them tonight when the children are in bed. VERY VERY sadly my hubby passed away VERY suddenly 2 days ago (if anyone has read my threads, my father did too in June) and I don't know what to do........it's comforting to know there are people on here who I could turn to if I need to vent later..............think I'm still in shock to be honest, what the hell am I doing on here..........because I can't sit downstairs looking at Christmas cards to me and hubby mixed in with the sympathy ones.............
I am so sorry to hear this news honey... it made me cry... Can I please send you heart felt sympathy and a huge hug.
I have to say words can not express how you must be feeling especially at this time of year and to be honest grief is a very personal thing.

Hugs to all of you who need them at this time. I haven't been able to post as regularly as I would like recently - but it doesn't mean I don't think about you all...
Sending you all lots of strength to get through this time - it must be so difficult, but you are inspirational in the way that you post here and support each other (and also support those of us whose problems seem big, but in reality are not nearly as big as we think...!).In the last 6 months, I have been off work and had 2 lots of "major" surgery, plus Mr P has spent the last 3 months in hospital...but in the long run we are both going to be fine - recovery will take a little time, but it will come, and I am grateful to you all on this thread for reminding me of just how lucky I am...
I wish you all a Merry Christmas with your families, and a Happy 2008!

It sounds like it has not been a whole lot of fun for you or Mr P this year, wishing you both a speedy recovery and best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Stormybay, I just wanted you to know that I have been thinking of you, stay strong honey, I can only imagine how hard things are at the minute for you and just thinking of how much it must hurt at times like this for you and others who have lost the love of their life makes me cry, and very cross about moaning about the silly things my partner has done etc. We're all here when you need us. Give the children a giant hug from us all.
My thoughts are with all those who have lost loved ones and are finding Christmas cheer a bit difficult, it's made me think a lot about absent family members and friends. We will as always be popping up to the cemetary tomorrow night, to see some friends and family we miss but will never forget. I just wish my Dad would join us on Christmas day, he's refused and says he wishes to be alone, which has upset me a lot, stubborn one that one, maybe where I get it from. One day I might be more organised...........

Stormybay you have done it my lovely you have survived the first year, it has been hell and I know that you still have a couple of anniversaries to come but they will pass just like the others have. Nobody could have prepared you for what you have gone through and truth be known it would have done you no good. You have got through it your way and along that road have helped so many people. Love to you and yours Dusty xxThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
