    Martin is certainly silent on it. I have learnt a lot about him form reading this thread. I thought he was a good man.

    The BBC is generally thought of as a good broadcasting service.

    But not today - this is tv purely for the titillation of the unthinking masses. Where is the real news?

    Has the financial crisis become that bad that the BBC has been told to be Cameron's antidote to Murdoch this week to throw us all off the scent / lull us with juicy gossip like everything else is ticking over normally ?

    Edit: Is this the news they are trying to stifle?
