It's amazing to see how all of a sudden you are acting all "professional"!!

You can say what you want and try to wriggle out of your pathetic mistake as much as you want but if I were reading these posts as a potential customer I wouldn't go anywhere near you. Hopefully others won't too.

It's easily solved, pay me my refund and I will stop posting about your rubbish service.

For everyone that's reading why would I want to damage a companies reputation if they provided a good service......I waited 8 days for a 24 hr service and when I received the £550 iPad back it was a shocking disgrace of a bodge job. My card was charged £110 for the service even though I was told that the price was £99.95. This in itself is illegal.

He said to send it back, but I was lucky enough once to get the iPad back when others havent.....once bitten twice shy Simon.

Do yourselves a favour STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS CON-MAN......go elsewhere, I wish I had paid the more expensive price of Apple tech service.

If anyone needs photographic evidence I can show you.
  • Just looking on here again tonight and it seems Simon Davies has deleted all his argumentative posts from this forum.
    Maybe he is feeling GUILTY?
  • I made posts at 11 and 13. Perhaps the new set up might want to return my ipod touch which was a 40th birthday present, which as I mention I sent off, got back months later bodged, then foolishly, but the 60 day warranty was mentioned, sent back, and now over a year had nothing back. 12 emails to Tony Ward and not a jot. You will have my details I am sure. Just look in the workshop for a ipod touch possibly second generation, where the screen wasn't flush and the home key doesnt work, you'll find a receipt for £44 pounds as well that I paid. It's probably under a pile of dust, received by the company on the 15/3/2011. Would still like it back, because 'IT IS ACTUALLY MINE'. I'm 43 in August, would be great for then!!

Do it yourself..it really is that easy..videos on youtube do it step by step..even i can do it...its easy ...save tens of pounds and know you have done a proper job.
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

It really is too......I ended up doing mine myself, as long as you take your time it really isn't too difficult :)
  • Oh God. Can't believe I didn't check the company out more thoroughly. How can businesses like this be allowed to continue to operate. It makes me so angry! They have my son's nano and I haven't received a single piece of communication from them despite the lovely sounding professional spiel on their website about how they will email you on receipt. It doubt we'll see it again.

Oh eck, I've sent them my Touch before reading here too!

I've been trying to track it via the Royal Mail website and all its said since Friday is:

"Your item has reached the delivery office and is out for delivery."

RM's phone number is a joke and cut me off everytime I phoned them, in the end I got through via the Post Office. They have started a 72 hour check, from the sounds of things I'll be lucky they've lost it and it never got to the "shop".

I've tried contacting cheapestukipodrepairs.com via phone and the website and got nothing back, the really annoying thing was the reason I went with them was the speed they replied to a query about a repair.

I now hope for the incompetence of the Royal Mail.... could I be that lucky?
  • Re GadgetFixers / Cheapestipodrepairs.com working out of 902 New Chester Road Bromborough then Units 22-23, Crewe Indoor Market

Yup, it's a scam. I sent my 5th Gen Ipod with a cracked screen for repair to their Bromborough Road Address.
Got an email to say it had arrived and Royal mail has given me proof of delivery.
Then nothing for two weeks. No reply to multiple emails. The phone number plays music for 20 mins without pickup.

Their website went down for a couple of days then returned with a different delivery address in Crewe.

Then got my phone bill, the contact phone number is a premium rate service - cost me 70p per minute for 20 mins on call waiting.
Attempted to contact Wirral Trading Standards but had to speak to consumer advice who took details. They need to hear from more of us to build a case against these crooks. Please phone (0151) 691 8020.
