Cheapest UK iPod Repairs, Wilmslow - WARNING

  • I was stung as well. I sent my son's ipod to be repaired. Firstly they took £104 from my credit card having quoted me £79 for the repair. Then after several weeks returned the ipod with a new glass front but it was detached from the case. After many conversations with TONY WARD and his promises to refund my money or return the unit repaired I gave up having received neither. Now he is too cowardly to answer his phone or respond to message or emails.

Still, lesson learned and at least I have my integrity in tact unlike TONY WARD and his phoney (boom boom!) company.

Yet another post showing that the company is absoloutely appalling and follows nothing of its policies it mentions on its websites. There will be probably be scores of other people who haven't found this forum. It is great though that if you type in TW Technology and cheapestipodrepairs in on google, this forum entry comes up on the 5th search item.

It all seems that alot of the people here have just given up, me included, but it is appalling what he and the company have done. It is basically theft, and he should be held to account for his actions.

The fact that the website is still there offering others its 60 day repair guarantee, and all its wonderful services galls me:mad: on a daily basis

If you have paid by credit card, contact the credit card company for a chargeback. Also, at the very least report it to Trading Standards. The more complaints they get the more likely they are to take action.

Try Watchdog and Daily Mirrror Investigates too. Again, the more complaints the more likely to be featured:

Something like this wont be featured. They are after the more mainstream players.

Just curious why didn't any of you use the genius bar. Surely a safer route, I have used the genius bar a few times and they have been exceptional.
