Mine would have to be my breadmaker, steamer, slow cooker and blender.

mine would have to be my stick blender and closely followed by my stainless steel steamer pan.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

I am saving up for a bread maker and am on the look out for a large slow cooker...they all seem to be 3.5 litres and I want a 6.5!!! ooh e bay..I am off to look again!
Shame you don't live nearer to me Bertie, I have a 6.5 sitting on top of my cupboard looking pretty, brought in error as there is only 2 of us most of the time. I won't throw it away, but don't need it, it needs a good home I did offer it on freecycle, but no one wanted it
I love all my gadgets but think it has to be my steamer. About 5 yrs ago parents were asking what we wanted for xmas, said a steamer as couldnt think of anything else, after using it for a while I always said if/when it broke I would get a new one, then it did, cue rush down to Argos to replace it.........mind you I also like my dishwasher, microwave, breadmaker, stick blender, food processor oh and the ice cream maker too and electric whisk, electric knife. And also my digital scales, DSD who comes to us at weekends is diabetic and the scales count the carbs for me!
Have only recently got a potato ricer and while I agree it makes lovely mashed potato, I do have a bit of a problem directing it into the bowl, seem to get a lot of potato 'worms' flying round the worktop :eek:whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

True.
However, imagine how I felt, having been given a bottle of a very good Californian red for Christmas, removing the foil and not only finding a cork but also realising that I didn't own a corkscrew. I can only describe the combination of anticipation, disappointment and frustration as being the wine lovers' version of your first instance of erectile dysfunction. :sad:The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

I imagine the occasion didn't lend itself to pushing the cork into the wine a' la' student :rotfl:0 -

Oh, Catt. Dear Catt, you are so mercifully free of the ravages of intelligence.

I tried that. Unfortunately, being a Californian wine, the "cork" was plastic. Being smooth, these fit so well against the smooth sides of the neck, that they don't let the air out past them as easily as a cork cork! The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Set of chef's knives would be DH's favourite gadget - mine would be the Kenwood mixer.Resolution:

There are many of us cooking fanatics out there. I am intriged to see what everyone's must have kitchen item would be.
Would have to say I couldn't be without my food processor!
And you?No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -
Difficult one for me. I would find it hard to choose between my hand held blender and my ancient Kenwood which I use to make all our bread.0
