so manorf
can i take it by your post that you fully and actively encourage the misuse and multi print of all coupons
you say These rules are currently 'tightened'
this mover use is why many of us are getting coupons refused in stores, what ever you think/say this happens to many of us and people are getting told its because of this kind of abuse.0 -
Manorf you are treading on very dangerous grounds with your comments.
When I first joined the thread over 2 years ago I was guided by the regulars on this thread on coupon use.
At the time we were able to use coupons in a different way than we are now. We could use dozens of different coupons at tesco, even if we had not bought the product. But rules were rules even then. You could only use 1 of each coupon at a time unless you bought the product, for example. Even Asda took some coupons without you buying the product. But we still followed each stores coupon policy.
But time passes and the supermarkets have changed their rules. What was good 3 years ago is not good now.
We on this thread have had to move with the times, you cannot live in the past.
Supermarkets, as is their right, have clamped down on coupon use. We have to follow their rules now, not ours, or we will lose the ability to use any coupons. Times are hard for everyone and that does include supermarkets, and they are looking for any excuse not to accept a coupon as they are worried they won't re-coup their money.
If shoppers use photocopied coupons, or multi print a coupon with the same pin number, we know the manufacturers will not give the shops their money back. The result of this will be the end of supermarkets accepting internet coupons.
If stores stop accepting internet coupons, every single shopper that prints coupons off the internet will lose out.
So the thread has evolved, it now advocates common sense in its use of coupons, it guides newbies on the correct use of coupon , it helps everyone save money, and if that means we have to keep supermarkets happy by following the correct coupon usage policy, then so be it.
Keeping to the rules on coupon use is a win - win situation.
Doing it your way, can only result in a lose - lose situation. I know which I prefer.

Your use of the word 'misuse' is inappropriate on this thread.
The thread was established to show how coupon 'USE' can reduce the shoppers supermarket bills - and it follows, allow people to better navigate these harsh economic times.
Most supermarkets will allow / encourage the use of multiple coupon prints so long as you buy the eqivalent number of products - so long as you do not breach their 'bulk buying' policy. No surprise here - as it is in their commercial interests to do so and they are NOT at risk of not being re-imbursed as they simply deduct the coupon amount from the suppliers invoice.0 -
who was the sender of the tassimo? was it a morrisons email? I only ask as I managed to get my mum a tassimo machine from freecycle
(also, managed to register it and get a £20 voucher from 'mytassimo' as the previous owner didn't register it!!
)
No it came from Tassimo - think it was their newsletterFor some reason they have only ever done Morrisons vouchers though??!
The £20 voucher when you register is brilliant isn't itAddicted to MSE0 -

I have covered many of your concerns in another post - however, you are clearly unaware of how th system works. Manufacturers do not re-imburse coupons - the 'cost' of them is deducted from their invoice.
I stand by my comments and will continue to encourage subscibers to USE coupons to reduce their shopping costs.
Retailers are not unhappy to misredeem coupons, you know!0 -

You have censored my original and informative post. This is not your place even if you are the current 'owner' of the thread.
This is thread 21.
The thread was established both to inform re currently available coupons AND to discuss misredemption opportunities.
Please do not forget this.0 -
the forum does not condone the sort of "misredemption" you are attempting to encourage , I will continue to report the offending postsEx forum ambassador
