but the stores own terms and conditions now state that the item MUST be purchased for the coupon to be accepted , so you are virtually encouraging fraud on the forum
I am NOT encouraging fraud at all.
I am reminding you that this thread was originally established both to highlight coupon finds AND discuss opportunities for coupon misredemption.
This has often been discussed and highlighted both on MSE and in other media by Martin Lewis and others.
It is not 'fraud', as you seem to believe, to disregard the stated terms and conditions on a coupon. They have the same legal standing as your milkman telling you not to listen to Radio 2.
Many coupons have had the wording ''use of this coupon against any other item constitutes fraud'' printed on them for over 30 years.
It doesn't. It is the same level of offence as buying today's News of the World. I.E. immoral in some peoples eyes - but illegal? Of course not.0 -
DH just went to get papers this morning normally purchase The Mail on Sunday anyway as joined their new mail rewards club purchased News of the World as last issue he was handed a sheet of vouchers for 50p off the Mail on Sunday for the next six weeks at the counter this was a local newsagent hope it may help someone0

I agree. At the end of the day we obey the rules by using the coupons on the correct products, in the hopes that we may get some more.
How can we hope to get more coupons, *hint*:D, if we keep abusing it?0 -
can you direct any "forum Policy" debate to this area
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=97
and to read
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/forum-faqs
about what to do if you do not agree with a board guides decision , and the difference between a board guide and the forum team ( who I have reported the posts to , the same as any other forum user)
I will move any further posts to the correct area of the forumEx forum ambassador

Don't know really lol! was thinking of word of mouth to start with.. friends on FB work friends etc see how it goes
Or I was thinking mabye I could make loads, save them up & try and sell them all at a car boot at the same time.. suppose that would cost less :P
hi, thhink this look lovely and would defo ebay or something.
however my first thought was, something to consider, when youi buy your nappies for newborns or whoever they are all packs and not tampered with.
may some people be abit ocd that you have not only taen out of packet, but roled or fiddled wiht some. unless you advertised you wore gloves whilst doing it.:)
just an iodea as they are lovely but it like buying 2nd hand stuff you want to wash when come off ebay or whereeverf so it may put people off putting hterm next to their newborns bottom.
just a thought adn might help boost sales if you are H&S/hygiene conscious - do others mention this on ebay?
all the best, as said it is so cute . and is not an issue with word of mouth or people that know you0 -
If got to first news then there is a coupon for First News newspaper to have 50% off. Costing 60p. Its a newspaper for kids. Valid until the end of july. Can't post links so hope my message makes sense. Forgot to say Good morning to everyone.0

I do not wish to feed the trolls, However I feel the need to say something.
I am all for saving money, and using coupons to do that. And the people on this thread have been fantastic in helping with that. I know in the past the rules regarding coupons where a lot less strict, but I can understand why the supermarkets have clamped down after reading how others use coupons.
There is a number of times when I have accidentally picked up the wrong item, for example the Pantene MOC from SSM an few months ago was for smooth and protect (I think) but I picked up smooth and sleek. THE TILL WOULD NOT ACCEPT IT as I had bought the wrong product.
Yes we all have freedom of speech, but there is no need to try to enforce you opinions and beliefs on others, and constantly repeating your posts.
Maybe this thread was originally set up for this idea, but we are now on thread 21 and things have evovled, and we no longer condone this behavior.
Once upon a time you could buy things with salt, I'd like to see you try that now.
Rules are rules, please try to stick to them and don't ruin things for others, whether that be the coupon policy's or our lovely couponing community on here.
Oh ye Morning Everyone. :hello::j First mini munchkin due 05/04/2013 :j0
