coupon usage rules followed by supermarkets have changed since these threads were started.
we still encourage using coupons to reduce bills/best ways to use them. not all supermarkets are that good at excepting coupons anymore, people are reporting that they are being refused there use or being accused of photocopy so not as easy as you are saying.

and i wasn't saying you can't use multi coupons in one shop but saying for each coupon buy the product. pdfs you can obviously use as many as you need(buy the product).
its the ones with id pins that we are saying don't use multi of the same(same pin)photocoping

no doubt you will still disagree with this and anything that goes against what you've said anyway

This thread was established to highlight the availability of coupons and to discuss opportunities for coupon misredemption too.

Your use of the word 'misuse' is inappropriate on this thread.

The thread was established to show how coupon 'USE' can reduce the shoppers supermarket bills - and it follows, allow people to better navigate these harsh economic times.

Most supermarkets will allow / encourage the use of multiple coupon prints so long as you buy the eqivalent number of products - so long as you do not breach their 'bulk buying' policy. No surprise here - as it is in their commercial interests to do so and they are NOT at risk of not being re-imbursed as they simply deduct the coupon amount from the suppliers invoice.

As I stated earlier Manorf, you appear to be living in the past as regards coupon use.

Maybe you have been a lurker too long, after all you have only posted 36 times in almost 3 years.

From what you are saying I gather that you print as many coupons as you like, photocopy as many as you like, use coupons even though you have not bought the product, and generally misredeem coupons and your supermarkets are happy for you to do this.

I would be very suprised indeed if this is the case.

Can you imagine, say Dove, saying "how come we issued 10,000 x £1 coupons and yet 46,000 were redeemed. Do you believe for one minute that the manufacturers would put up with that level of abuse.

By the way myrtleturtle is the new thread "boss" and what she says goes.

Oh, and the next time someone on here says "they wouldn't take my coupon, they said its a copy" or "I could only use one of my coupons as it says one per person" etc etc shall we point them all in your direction and you will sort out the problem your way.

the forum does not condone the sort of "misredemption" you are attempting to encourage , I will continue to report the offending posts

This forum was set up for exactly that purpose and does not need the likes of you moralising and denying people the opportunity of genuine money saving advice in these economic times.

Actually, supermarkets are very happy to misredeem coupons when it is in their own commercial interests to do so.

Sorry to be blunt Manorf, but you are talking a load of rubbish, it cannot be in anyones best interest to lose money hand of fist to coupon abuse.

Stick to the rules and we all save money, simple.

but the stores own terms and conditions now state that the item MUST be purchased for the coupon to be accepted , so you are virtually encouraging fraud on the forum
