Not sure if this is relevant to your problem but users of this modem have had problems due to it losing their user-name/password because unless it is saved correctly it will revert back to a default setting. see here for more info.

You should be able to access the link from your PC to configure the modem. If you haven't got the user manual, it can be downloaded from this URL http://my.opera.com/boxopen/homes/blog/SmartAX_MT882_V200R002C01B021_User_Manual.pdf

Section 3.2 describes setting up the PC to communicate with the modem.

are you able to ping those addresses? Thing it should be the 1.1 address judging by your ipconfig

If it pings, what settings have you got set in IE/tools/internet options/connections and also under lan settings

I saved the pdf file which you linked to espresso and it said it was corrupted and was not fixable...I don't seem to be having much luck

I think I've done this correctly...I went to "start", then "run" typed in "cmd" which brought up the black box. I then typed in...

ping 192.168.1.1

to which it stated "Destination host unreachable"

The lights on my modem are as follows..

Power: Green
ADSL Link: Light orange
ADSL ACT: Green
LAN: Deep orange
USB: Green
