I always give a store employee my mobile before I start interviewing but I do get detachment issues:o
It rings/recieves emails on a 2-5min basis and I keep thinking what I'm missing, especially if the interview is going nowhere.

In over 40 years and countless job interviews I can only remember a few which were interupted by phone calls.
one was from an obviously distraught wife/partner/GF? (I dont know why) but the interview was abruptly terminated by the HR person running out leaving me sitting there for a few seconds before leaving. I didnt hear from them about the job - assumed he covered his !!! by saying I wasnt suitable.
another MUST have been the role model for the guy in The Office - that damn phone went off (his mobile actually) every five minutes exactly! it got so that after the third time I looked at my watch and said 'I would answer that but your phone is going to ring'. then got up and left when it did. Didnt want to work for THAT prat!
the last time was simply the receptionist informing the HR person that 'So and So' had arrived for thier appointment. ??????????? I was puzzling why they would need to do this when the interview was abruptly terminated by the HR person with the words 'we will be in touch' - and I got it! The person who was going to get the job had arrived and HR person didnt need to waste any more time with me! I somehow managed to drop my bag as I got up and knocked a big stack of files off his desk! shame that! I giggled all the way home. and, as expected didnt get the job!0 -

Apologies, pink princess, there was a very silly poster (a newbie who was trolling) whose posts appear to have all been deleted - leaving my responses.
In fact, all his posts to date have been deleted, not surprising as he posted one of the nastiest things I've ever read on another thread.0 -
You are a liar - and after seeing your appalling post on this thread:

post #23, everybody will see what a sad excuse for a human being you are.
Bugger, it's been deleted! I was curious... or perhaps I didn't actually want to read it...?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
My dentist keeps answering her phone when I'm there. She started shouting at the person on the other end once which was really unprofessional. I don't like being there any longer than I have to so I really wish she would just ignore it or let one of her two helpers answer it.0
