You have a hugely inflated opinion of your importance.

Not at all, just a high expectation of the company I'm possibly planning on joining.

I think my experience of interviews and your experience must be miles apart.

As a mere potential employee, you are in no position to judge. Until offered a contract, why should any employer give you their time of day?

Ah, you see, here's where our experience differs.

You say I'm in no position to judge (presumably you mean to judge if the employer or his representative was a decent employer), but the jobs I've applied for have been highly paid in the private sector.
The companies I've applied for jobs with have either been large UK organisations or multi national corporations and information on the company as an employer has been widely available.

Talking about the jobs I've applied for, potential employers were looking for the skills I had so yes - they did want to give me the time of day.
They all had Human Resources departments who ensured that interviewers conformed to the standards set by the company.

Your expectations are too high. Won't be long before you're on the dole for good. Failure.

    On the dole? :rotfl:

I took early retirement almost 8 years ago at the age of 50.

My lifestyle is funded by my substantial occupational pension, lump sum and investments.
    I'd call that a success.

So, you got that wrong - same for all the other stuff you've spouted.

Then why are you posting on the other forum about being on the dole for the last seven years?

    What other forum?
I think you've got me mixed up with someone else.

    Link to that post, please.

You posted elsewhere only three days ago that you had been on the dole for SEVEN years.

You are a liar, I have never been on the dole and have certainly never posted on this or any other forum that I have been on the dole - for any length of time.

I have gone back through my posts to 30th June - much longer than your alleged 3 days.

There is no post that says I have been on the dole.

    There is this:

Is this how housing benefit works?

Luckily, I've never had to claim benefits, but I thought (maybe naively) that something like housing benefit would be paid direct to the landlord. :o

You are a liar - and after seeing your appalling post on this thread:

post #23, everybody will see what a sad excuse for a human being you are.

    You disgust me.

And MSE wants us to be nice to newbies'?

You have repeatedly posted about your time on the dole in the other forum.

So prove it by posting the link to my so-called repeated posts.

You can't because you are wrong - but you don't have the guts to admit it and back down gracefully.

    Liar.

Do you know what, cherry1000, this despicable lying excuse for a human being isn't worth the effort.

I'm not even going to give him the pleasure of replying to him, let alone reporting him.

Let his stupid posts remain so everybody can see what a king-sized !!!!!! he is.

Who said you had deleted my posts.

You have deleted FIVE of my links to the proof of your signing on. You have repeatedly mentioned it on the other forum.

Have you always been stupid or have you developed it over time?
