This is why I wasnt sure If I should. Im sure I read that if you dont get a oline decision and its referred you are not eligible for cashback x

Yes I got that message too - surprised as always got instant acceptance from such things in the past.

I certainly hope it doesn't wipe out the TCB! Anyone know more re. this?

this is what it says on tcb

Cashback will be tracked on credit card applications accepted online. If your application goes to 'Pending' or 'Referred' your cashback will be declined. However, if your application is then accepted we advise that you submit a missing cashback claim.

Yes, I did. Will post if I get turned down or accepted. Am retired and on quite low income, so I could be too old/too poor. And I took out a current account with Santander. They may have done a credit check for that as there is an automatic overdraft facility. Will let you know. Otherwise am a good credit risk, and never been turned down yet.
