Good News!!
Jacks kidney tests all come back ok, there is much less blood in his Urine and his temperature is back to normal. The Vet had told us yesterday to be prepared to be coming in all week, but she was so pleased with his progress he's been sent away with a weeks worth of antibiotics.
As UTI's produce Glucose in the Urine anyway its still hard to get a precise diabetes diagnosis so she's going to have another look at him next week. In the meantime I need to watch his water intake etc.
So relieved. I was so worried about him. Neither he nor Bob have ever been ill so It was a bit of a shock. Hopefully his coat will clear up as well now and it all downhill from here!

Marvellous news! You must be so relieved. I did wonder if it was an infection sending the other results 'off', but didn't like to say so in case I got your hopes up.
Hope Jack's enjoying being able to wee in peace:rotfl: and that the anti-biotics sort him out soon.Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0 -

I know I went into panic mode and instantly feared the worst lol He's just been out for a wee and looked at me as if to say "what, are you not following me?"
I've even managed to trick him into taking his tablet with a cheesy bite.
