lovely to see that the end is in sight for you and March isn't too far away
It isn't if things go to plan and that also includes tix crudits as well...
I am not sure it all will go to plan, so i aim to have a major tightening of budgets and this time i will be squeezing harder:cool::eek:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Well on budget squeezing front i have made a little spreadsheet re petrol and utilities.
I am marking mileage/price of miles.
Daily useage for gas and electricity, that way i can see what is going where especially with price rises.
I have also marked the second day of Shredding- as in the dreaded shred- still alive so all good thereBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Good evening, Bob, just popping out of Lurkers' Corner to ask how is the budget-squeezing going?
I have started keeping track of how many miles per gallon I am getting from my motor (my last car had a computer thingy that gave a constant reading of mpg as I drove, but the present wheels don't have that facility so I have to do the maths.) Things like not having too much stuff in the boot, and driving smoothly with properly-inflated tyres help. Also trying to keep the rev count steady. Every little helps, as they say.
I also read my electricity and gas meters regularly and input the numbers to my online energy account, so there are no nasty surprises when it's bill time. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Being alive is definitely a bonus when it comes to exercise
Well done, just looking at the blurb about Shred on amazon scared me.0 -

Well it isn't going to badly on my part:cool:
My savings have built up again and i only have the mortgage to come out, £30 for food and i am renewing my passport this month.:D
Shred wise, well i ended up having an inner ear infection, i just thought i was tired:eek: so have been losing my balance a bit. Doctor has given me tablets- but i now just pretend i am having a fab time being drunk( laughter is the best medicine so they say):rotfl::rotfl: It has got slightly better though. I am thinking of the Dukan diet- although not sure if i could stick to it.
I have just paid the final bill to EDF for Gas and Electric, so will now start as of tomorrow- so far though i use about £7-£9 per week( this is summer) i need to keep it at that to make my budget work. I have gone back to EON who have set my monthly DD at £62, which means if i am very frugal i will remain in credit each month and build a stock of gas and electric overpayments to see me through the cold months. I am also thinking of investing in an oil filled radiator for each of the bedrooms as i heard they cost pennies to run.
I have just listed a few things on Amazon and wanted to list on Ebay, but they my Paypal account is playing funny things- not a happy bunny with it.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

It is a good workout and you get results very quickly with it(especially with my stomach size, so that is a good thing):DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
