Tutoring via skills swap sounds great - love that :)

A garden is for life, my grass has gone a bit cripsy while we were away, but the carrots are looking very happy inspite of no rain & the conifer 'hedge' is trying hard to become trees - hence the need for cordless hedge trimmer reservation to be collected tomorrow.

I do love a weapon of mass defoliation :D

Just thinking about you yesterday as we talked about the punk festival. Do you have any plans this year?
Edit to say it is GJ i think who went to Punk festival.
I had my moments back in the 80 - now still a closet punk - lots of loud music off my ipod as I drive my rep mobile to my middle class job - isn't it ironic
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

I am the same- :D:rotfl:Sometimes i have to transport pupils in my job. One put the CD player on by mistake and out boomed Alice Cooper...luckily the lyrics were clean:D
If they had put one of my others on- Tenacious D may have been on:eek: I am sure they would have looked at me with different eyes as Jack black M....f*d his way around the lyrics:rotfl:

  • Today seems to have been a day for sorting more things out.

I have been helping DS complete his forms for a tax rebate, it was only when he overheard me discussing with Mr.B my tax rebate that he realized he had been on the wrong tax code as well. That is all sorted and in the post and we will see in due course what all of this brings.

Further forms sorted re work related things as well. It is one of those days again and i am motivated to get to the bottom of every single bit of paperwork.:D

Other than that just mundane things like shopping, tidying and whatnot..still it feels good to get paperwork under control and DS has been motivated to make lots of brews:D:beer:

Dinner was rather scrummy leftover baked potatoes with cheese as a HE from slimming world diet. With side veg in tomato sauce all low fat and syn free:D

It is my wedding anniversary tomorrow and we commiserate 26 years together. Goes off to see if i can find padlock and key which was chucked away..i am sure i am due parole by now:cool::rotfl::rotfl:
