Yeah, I'd been looking at that site too, but it does have "scam" written all over it.. Especially as they apparently can't take credit card payments at the moment - I suspect that at best the stuff is stolen/broken/fake, but most likely you wouldn't end up with anything.

Shame, was a very good price for the camera I'm after!

I was seriously looking at these too, but for me the risk is the only secure payment method as a consumer is not currently accepted!

They have some crappy comment -

*SMS VERIFICATION - it is necessary to have a mobile phone where to receive a sms with your password.
    Not available for the moment

What is all this SMS verification nonsense about, I have never seen anything like that? We have SecureCode etc that gives additional security, so what is this SMS about.

There are lots of opinions here, that all seem to be the same, but has anyone got any real experience of them?
  • Have just been looking at these for an I pod touch. 4G 8GB was £84 and is about £150 cheapest anywhere else. Seemed dodgy so looked further. The address to contact in London is 190 Dover Street - googled and is the Immigration Advisory Service. Will not be risking this one - just joined just so could post this warning!!

I've just been dumb enough to order something from them, so I'll let you know if they deliver goods or just steal money in a couple of days...

    BEWARE MULTIZONEAV.EU IS A SCAM

I started my order thinking wow and when it came to paying they ask for either Paypoint and something called UKASH, or e-voucher basically its a cash payment with no security.

I mistakenly thought the site was attributed to multizoneav.com but due to the payment methods alarm bells sounded and I contacted multizoneav.com and they told me that the site had only appeared this week (Monday 4th July) and they were trying to get it shut down as it is causing them a nightmare.

Since I did the initial online order about an hour ago (I have not luckily made a payment or given any payment details) my computer has been subject to a web attack luckily Norton firewall has caught it, just now a little concerned that they will sell my email address, home address and telephone number..... oh well I should have remembered the golden rule.... If it seems to good to be true, it probably is!!!
  • I nearly ordered a camera last night but I sent them a message about the lens to which they haven't replied, so I tried searching forums online and found lots of people like yourself saying it's probably a scam and too good to be true. Hope you get your order.
  • I too have seen this web site for electrical goods and was lead into it via Google price comparison site. I am more than a little wary and thought better of it even though it is offering my chosen fridge freezer for less than half high st price!

The payment options are more than a little spurious and sadly only time will tell if my suspicions are justified as I am sure as we speak there are many payments being forwarded to this company which hopefully will be exchanged for the goods offered.

This really needs checking out. The price comparison site is a trusted method of buying and its easy to be hoodwinked when you see reputable companies listed alongside.

To add further to the suspicion there is already an established reputable UK company trading under the same name with positive feedback and the EU counterpart appears to be riding on the back of it.

Its back up again. The sites is back in operation.
Any site which causes one to do various checks should be steered clear of.
Instinctively we know when something is right or wrong but then we let our minds put a bit of self doubt in the mix. _ a touch of greed too :(

I have been checking this site too.

It is a scam.. I buy a lot from the web. Carefully read the posts from the good people here don't just skim through them.....
