A difficult situation

I work with plenty of 16 year olds who live on thier own and have kids - some of them manange very well, some needs lots of support...just like us 'grown ups'. However not a single one is subsibised by a rich relative....People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I would just like to comment that although it wasn't ideal, for reasons too in depth to talk about on here, I did actually move out when I was 16 and supported myself in a rented flat for a round a year. It was hard, not ideal but I still managed to obtain A-levels and get to University. I'm sure there is plenty more concerned in this scenario but it wouldn't have been impossible for a 16 year old to raise a baby by herself (with support from care workers).
I hope that, whatever happens, the child gets placed with the best person for them and grows up in a loving household.July Grocery Challenge - £0/£140

has the aunt allowed access over the years or has your cousin been off the scene all this time and has now decided she wants her daughter back?0

I moved out when I was 16 and had a flat, and worked all the time, I worked in kwick save, factory and a corner shop! I only went home to sleep and party. I had a wicked life when I left home, and a much better relationship with my parents. I did however move back home for a year when I was 18 and had my first child.
But difference being, I was very mature.0 -
