15 - dare I ask why?0 -

Ebay of course........ No, I am actually a sad weather watcher (see here http://www.glebecomputers.co.uk/CurrentWeather.htm) and these will make excellent gifts for the local juniors who attend our meetings.0

I ordered 4 plus a coin sorter as that's fab for some presents for people I know. The order went through fine at 4X1.99 and 1x4.99 and free delivery. It said a delivery slot couldn't be given at the moment and a rep would ring so I think they'll probably say that as soon as they come in they'll contact me or something. Hope I get them as they look fab....

2 x Weather Stations @ £1.99 each
2 x KITT Knight Rider cars @ £4.99 each
1 x Coin Sorter @ £4.99
1 x Genreal Lee Dukes of Hazard car @ £4.990 -
Went into Tunbridge Wells store at 9:00am today (28th) and there was a whole box of them at the counter. I asked if they were 1.99 now, and the guy said yes! So I got 2 and grinned widely!
Thanks to the original OP, great spot... even greater now they're pretty much giving them away for the price of the batteries!0 -
My message on mobile said they were out of stock, but were expected to get another batch at somepoint (they didn't know when though), I called back to check everything, the woman I spoke to was really polite but didn't seem to know as much as the guy who'd left my message... I asked if I could keep the order on their systems for when stocks are replenished and she said yes, she didn't know of any time limit for doing this (sometimes with other stores if they dont get stock within X amount of time they cancel the order).
I'm in no rush, as it was a gift idea and most birthdays are around June/July with my friends then no worries for me. Fingers crossed!:rotfl:0 -
Got them in my local Comet (Netherauldhouse - Glasgow) They are priced at £1.99 in store. Website must be wrong. The larger white one with the weathergirl (Item KW9007) is now £9.99 was £19.99.
Wished I'd had one before I started out as it began to rain as I left Comet and got soaked on the way back!0 -

Same here - ordered a weather station and coin sorter, all out of stock at local stores and they will contact me re: free delivery.
My two kids love the big coin sorters in Sainsburys but they take 7p in every £1 which is a lot of their pocket money! This way they can have all the money themselves! And I almost bought one of the weather stations for my husband for £29.99 before Xmas - so pleased I didnt!
